At this time, if there is a gap between the insulating housing and the terminal part, flux may reach the contact part of the connector through the gap and cause a contact failure. In order to prevent this, conventionally, a sealing material was applied to the portion where the terminal portion of the connector exits from the insulating housing to close the gap.

Fig. 5 and Fig. 6 show this, Fig. 5 a, b, and c are the top view, front view, and bottom view, and Fig. 6 a is along the - line of Fig. 5 b. FIG. 6b is an enlarged sectional view taken along the - line in FIG. 6a and seen in the direction of the arrow. In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes an insulator, which has a rectangular parallelepiped outer shape, and has a plurality of connector insertion holes 1a with a generally rectangular cross section formed in two rows inside, and a terminal portion of a connector of a plug-side connector (not shown) on the top surface. Terminal insertion hole 1 allows for insertion and removal
b is formed, and a plurality of engagement protrusions 1c (in this case, two) are formed on a part of the lower side surface. Reference numeral 2 denotes a bottom reinforcing member having a concave cross section that can be fitted to the bottom side of the insulator 1, and a terminal insertion hole 2a into which a terminal portion 3a of a connector 3, which will be described later, can be inserted is formed in the bottom surface, and the above-mentioned engagement An engagement hole 2b is formed at a position corresponding to the protrusion 1c. 3 is the above connector,

In the case of the above conventional example, the sealing material 5 is applied to the terminal portion of the connector 3 from the viewpoint of workability.
Since only the gap between a and the bottom reinforcing member 2 is provided, flux may infiltrate between the engagement protrusion 1c and the engagement hole 2b or the joint between the insulator 1 and the bottom reinforcing member 2. It may rise to the contact portion 3b of the connector 3, thereby causing a contact failure.

If the viscosity of the sealant is high, the sealant will be difficult to come out from the sealant applicator and the workability will be poor.On the other hand, if the viscosity of the sealant 5 is low or the gap between the terminal part 3a and the bottom reinforcing member 2 is large, Although the workability of applying the sealant is good, the sealant penetrates into the gap between the bottom reinforcing member 2 and the terminal part 3a, and the sealant adheres to the contact part 3b of the connector 3 and hardens, causing a contact failure. , normal spring characteristics cannot be obtained and the product may swell.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be explained with reference to the drawings. Figures 1a and 1b are a side sectional view and a front sectional view showing a part of an embodiment of the soldering socket connector according to the present invention [a view taken along the - line in Figure 1a in the direction of the arrows. ], FIG. 2 is a developed view of the connector shown in FIG. 1. As is clear from this figure, the difference from the conventional example shown in FIG. 6 is that a separating piece 3d is integrally formed on the connector 3 and is bent below the contacting part 3b and the connecting part 3c. Furthermore, this is different from the conventional example described above in that the sealing material 5 is not applied to the area where the bottom reinforcing member 2 and the terminal portion 3a contact, but is applied directly to the entire lower part of the isolation piece 3d and then cured. Different. The sealing material 5 is applied after the connector 3 is inserted and locked into the insulator 1 and before the bottom reinforcing member 2 is fitted to the insulator 1.

(1) Since the isolation piece 3d is bent below the contact part 3b and the connecting part 3c of the connector 3, flux will infiltrate from the fitting part between the insulator 1 and the bottom reinforcing member 2 during soldering. Therefore, contact failure can be prevented. (2) Isolation piece 3
Since the coating can be applied directly to the entire lower part of the connector 3, the workability is improved, and the increase in flux that wraps around the connector 3 can be prevented, thereby preventing contact failure. (3) Since the terminal portion 3a of the connector 3 is fixed to the sealing material 5, the fixation of the connector 3 is reinforced compared to the conventional example shown in FIG.
