〜14/1が好ましい。ラテックスの割合を高めると、
印刷の光沢が高まる反面、インキのセット性が悪くなり
、印刷ムラが生じやすく(マイグレーションが起こり易
い)、剛度が低下する傾向がみられ、逆に少ないと填料
の粉落ち(カレンダーの汚れ、印刷版の汚れの原因とな
る)を生じる。また、SBRラテックスとしては、硝化
綿タイプのインキと塗工層との密着性の点から、アクリ
ルニトリルの配合比の多いものが、特にその配合量が1
0重量部以上のものが好ましく、またブタジエンの配合
比が少ない、特にその配合比としては、30〜50%、
より好ましくは35〜45%、特に好ましくは38〜4
2%が好適である。また40%近傍が最適である。かか
る点に適合するものとしては、住友ノーガッタ社製「P
−OZ37」を挙げることができる。塗料には、紙力増
強助剤(PAV、カゼイン等)、耐水化剤、潤滑剤、消
泡剤、保水剤、pH調整剤、着色顔料などをさらに添加
できる。塗工には、チップブレードやベントブレードな
どのブレードによる塗工を行うのが好ましい。ロール塗
工では、塗工ムラ特に梨地状のムラを生じる。塗工量は
8〜25g/m2が望ましい。一方、裏面側に、カール
防止用の酸化デンプン、防腐剤、耐水化剤などを塗工す
ることができる。
