  1. 径方向に延びるフランジ部およびこのフランジ
    部と一体形成され断面が単一の半円弧状または連
    続した複数の半円弧状を呈するシール部を備えた
    一対のシール要素を、軸線と直交する平面に対し
    て対称に対峙させ、前記フランジ部同士を溶着し
    てなることを特徴とする金属シール。
