Microwave ovens can use containers with lower heat resistance than those required for use in gas ranges or ovens, and can heat up in a short time.
Since it has various advantages such as not burning the contents and being easy to use, it is widely used for various purposes such as heating and cooking, not only for home use but also for commercial and industrial purposes. In addition, various instant foods that can be reheated or cooked in a microwave oven are now on sale.

When heating food in a microwave oven, place the food inside the metal cavity of the microwave oven and irradiate microwaves from the irradiation port on the wall. The microwaves will be reflected by the metal on the wall.
Food is irradiated with microwaves from the top, bottom, left and right, and the entire food is heated.

That is, the part 3 where the top surface (liquid surface) of the container 1 and the food 2 come into contact will be irradiated with microwaves a and b from both the top and side surfaces, but other parts of the container 1 will not , the food 2 receives microwaves (a or b) only from either the top or side. In this case, only the contacting part 3 of the container 1 and the food product 2 is heated excessively and boiling occurs in this part. On the other hand, the temperature rise in other parts of the container 1, especially the lower part of the container, is significantly delayed, and as a result, the food is not heated evenly.

Conventionally, a solution to the above problem has been to cover the outside of the container in the area where the food is heated excessively with aluminum foil. This is because when microwaves hit the aluminum foil, they are reflected, so this area prevents the microwaves from passing through and slows down the heating of the food. Furthermore, various improvements have been made using this technology. For example, Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 51-2367 discloses a tea steamer in which a metal film that reflects microwaves is provided on the outer or inner surface of the lid, and a resistive film that absorbs microwaves is provided on the bottom of the container. Also, Utility Model Publication No. 189795 and Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 1987-
No. 32261 discloses a food package in which a member for blocking microwaves is provided on the side of the package,
Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 126743/1983 describes that the food is covered with metal foil depending on the degree to which the food is easily heated.

However, in all of the above methods, a large portion of the container or its contents is closely covered with metal such as aluminum foil. Therefore, microwaves are cut off more than necessary, resulting in large energy loss and a significant delay in raising the temperature of the contents. Furthermore, the portions of the food covered with metal tend to remain unheated, which often results in the inability to uniformly heat the food. Furthermore, the temperature of the edge of the aluminum foil increases abnormally due to induction heating, and in this case, a portion of the aluminum foil may melt or burn in the container it is in contact with.

The present invention uses a double-structured container as the container,
A lid with a microwave blocking layer is placed on the side that hangs down to the side of the outer container and covers the area where the top surface of the contents comes into contact with the side of the inner container body.
This was done based on the knowledge that the above-mentioned problems could be effectively solved by using a double-layered container.

The container of the present invention can store various things such as soup, shiruko, coffee, juice, boiled food, etc. The inner container body that accommodates the contents is
It is made from a heat-resistant material (one that does not melt at 100℃) that is transparent to microwaves and can withstand microwave heating. For example, polyethylene, polypropylene, polycarbonate, polyester, nylon, paper, and paper coated with the above polymers are preferably used. In this case, it is more effective if the outer container is made of a heat insulating material such as expanded polystyrene because it has good heat retention. In addition, the container of the present invention is
An integrated container can be filled with the contents in advance and sealed with a container lid, but if the container lid is removable, it is possible to store solid contents during cooking. This is preferable because you can open the lid and pour water or hot water before cooking.

The microwave blocking layer is formed on the side of the lid that hangs down the side of the outer container, and is made of aluminum, nickel, chrome, iron, etc. that do not transmit microwaves.
Made of metal materials such as zinc, tin, and their alloys. Then, a thin film of these metals may be provided on the microwave-transmissive material by means such as adhesion, lamination, metal vapor deposition, or metal printing, or the entire portion may be formed of the metal material itself. The microwave blocking layer may be provided either on the inside or outside of the side of the lid.

In the present invention, if a horizontal distance () consisting of an air layer of 0.5 mm or more is provided between the outer barrier layer and the outer container or between the outer container and the inner container, the heating efficiency will be further increased and the contents will be heated. The time required for heating is further reduced.

Moreover, since the thermal energy of microwaves can be effectively used for preferential heating, the induction heating generated in the microwave blocking layer is significantly reduced, and even if the induction heating occurs, it is absorbed by the air layer, resulting in No adverse effects will affect the contents or the contents itself. Furthermore, it is more preferable to set the same distance () to 1.5 mm or more. Furthermore, when the horizontal distance () including the air layer and the thickness of the inner container side wall, outer container side wall, or lid side is set to 1.8 to 20.5 mm, the effect of preventing bumping of the contents and improving thermal efficiency is maximum. becomes. However, the greater the distance of the air layer within the above distance range, the greater the effect of preventing adverse effects on the contents and food due to induction heating.

In the present invention, it is necessary to provide the same microwave blocking layer on the side of the outer container that hangs down to the side surface, and in a position that covers the area where the top surface of the contents contacts the side surface of the inner container body. shall be. Furthermore, it is desirable to provide an opening in the lid of the container in order to prevent the pressure inside the container from increasing due to heating in a microwave oven. In this case, the diameter of the opening is 0.7
It is best to set it to ~3 mm. This is because if it is less than 0.7 mm, clogging is likely to occur, and if it exceeds 3 mm, the steaming effect after heating cannot be expected. As for the structure of the opening, the opening may be covered with a sheet with an adhesive that peels off when the pressure inside the container increases, or the top or bottom of the lid may be covered with easily breakable material such as low-density polyethylene. It is preferable to use a structure in which the openings are closed by coating with a thin film, since this not only adjusts the internal pressure but also satisfies hygiene requirements.

The container of the present invention can have various shapes such as a conical shape, a cylindrical shape, a cubic shape, etc., but unlike a cube, there are no acute angles and all curved surfaces are used to prevent the contents from overheating. preferred. The container of the present invention can be easily manufactured by known molding methods such as vacuum molding, compression molding, and injection molding. In this case, it is preferable to engage the mouth of the inner container and the mouth of the outer container to provide a space between the side surfaces and bottom surfaces of the inner container and the outer container. If the distance (height) between the bottom of the inner container and the bottom of the outer container is set to 2 mm or more, preferably 3 to 25 mm, heating from the bottom by microwaves will increase and efficient convection will occur. More efficient heating can be achieved. In this case, if the microwave table is made of enamel or iron, the thickness is preferably 3 to 15 mm, and if the table is made of glass, the thickness is preferably 3 to 9 mm. Furthermore, the bottom of the outer container can be opened if desired.

According to the present invention, since local overheating of the contents can be prevented, efficient and uniform heating can be performed when heating the contents for a short time in a microwave oven. Moreover, since it is used in a microwave oven, it can be made into a simple container, and is suitably used as a container for instant food filled with soup, oshiruko, juice, etc. Furthermore, in the container of the present invention, since a microwave shielding layer is not provided on the wall surface of the inner container, the microwave shielding layer will not peel off even if the contents are placed in the inner container and are sterilized by retort. It is particularly preferred as a container for food.
