34でカード読取データなどに基づきセンタ装置へ
送信するための電文を編集した後、ステツプ35で
装置内の他のCPUへ割込み要求を出す。割込み
要求を受けたCPUは、ステツプ36において作成
電文に基づく取引要求指令を伝送制御部21を介
してセンタ装置へ送出し、センタ装置からの取引
回答を受信するのを待つ。一方M−CPU10は
上記センタ装置との交信処理と並行して、キー入
力装置6による暗証番号のキー入力を受け付け
る。このキー入力データはRAMのデータ記憶領
域M2(第4図2に示す)に書き込まれる(ステツ
プ38,39)。つぎにM−CPU10は各データ記憶
領域M1,M2から暗証番号にかかるカード読取デ
ータとキー入力データとを読み出して、比較し、
両データの一致、不一致を判定する。データの不
一致により、ステツプ40の判定が“NO”の場
合、カード利用者に対し暗証番号を再度キー入力
