<Prior art> When connecting eaves gutters, one of the eaves gutters is usually fitted into the other, and both eaves gutters are fixed with potprivets or the like, and both are fixed with adhesive. Furthermore, the eaves gutter was inserted into the joint member via a joint member, and similarly secured with potprivets or the like.

<Problems that the invention aims to solve> However, with these joint methods, it is not easy to fold in the potprivets and apply the adhesive, and furthermore, once the potprivets are fixed with adhesive, the eaves gutter itself may be damaged by the hot or cold climate. Even if it expands and contracts naturally, it cannot follow it, resulting in many problems such as falling off and irregularities in the water gradient.

<Means for solving the problem> The present invention has been devised in view of the above problem, and includes forming notches on both sides of the contact piece and the corresponding contact piece on the rear folded side of the joint member. Recesses are formed on both sides, and the end face of the inserted eaves gutter is brought into contact with the abutting piece, and within the recess, a fold is made that has approximately the same length as the recess formed on the rear folded side of the eaves gutter. This provides a joint structure that connects curved pieces by bending them upward.

<Function> In other words, when the eaves gutter is inserted into the joint member,
Because the end surface of the eaves gutter comes into contact with the abutment piece, the overlap between both eaves gutter is always constant, and by bending the bent piece provided at the rear folded side of the eave gutter upward in the recess of the joint member. It has the ability to follow the natural expansion and contraction of eaves gutters, and also reliably prevents them from falling out. Furthermore, by applying a synthetic rubber caulking material to the inside of the joint member and the outer surface of the eaves gutter on the insertion side, watertightness between the two eaves gutters connected via the joint member is sufficiently ensured.

That is, the eaves gutter 1 has a long abbreviated shape with a front surface 11, a bottom surface 12, and a rear surface 13 that are open at the top. At the upper end of the front surface 11 is a front folded side 11a.
However, at the upper end of the rear surface 13, rear folded sides 13a are formed respectively in a state of being bent inward of the eave gutter. Furthermore, a cut groove is made on the end surface 14 side of this rear folded side 13 using metal scissors, etc., to form a recess 23 which will be described later.
A bent piece 13b having substantially the same length as c and 23d is formed.

On the other hand, the joint member 2 is as shown in the perspective view of FIG.
It is a regular length member with a front surface 21, a bottom surface 22, and a rear surface 23 having approximately the same cross section as the eaves gutter 1. A front folded side 21a is formed on the upper part of the front face 21, and a rear folded side 23a is formed on the upper face of the rear face 23, each bent inward. Further, approximately at the center of the rear folded side 23a, as shown in the partially omitted perspective view of FIG.
x, 23y are formed, and recesses 23c, 23d are formed on both sides thereof, respectively. These eaves gutters 1, 1 are each attached to a gable board or the like through dedicated brackets.

The eaves gutters 1 and the joint members 2 are both made of aluminum alloy plates or hot-dip galvanized steel plates, which are baked and painted with a polyester resin that has excellent weather resistance, and then molded into a predetermined shape by roll forming or the like. .

First, as shown in FIG. 1, synthetic rubber caulking materials 3, 3 are applied to the inner surface of the joint member 2. As the synthetic rubber caulking material 3, silicone rubber, butyl rubber, urethane rubber, etc. are used, for example.

On the other hand, the synthetic rubber caulking material 4 is similarly applied to the insertion side outer surface 15 of the eaves gutter 1. Next, the eaves gutter 1 is inserted into the joint member 2. As mentioned above, since the joint member 2 has almost the same cross-sectional shape as the eaves gutter 1,
Front folded side 11a and rear folded side 13 of eaves gutter 1

In this state, the bent piece 13b of the eaves gutter 1 is placed in the recessed members 23c and 23d of the joint member 2, and the bent piece 13b is bent upward using pliers or the like as shown in FIG. .

Incidentally, after the end surface 14 of the bent piece 13b is brought into contact with the abutting piece 23b, a cut groove may be made using metal cutting scissors or the like and the bent piece 13b may be bent.

In the above joint structure, the contact piece 23b connects both eaves gutters 1 and 1.
It serves as a stopper (ruler) when inserting the bent pieces 13b and 13 in the recesses 23c and 23d.
As long as you bend b upward, this bent piece 13
b, 13b are hooked into the recesses 23c, 23d with a length allowance of the notches 23x, 23y, respectively. Therefore, the eaves gutter 1 and the other eaves gutter 1 are not completely fixed at the front folded sides 11a, 11a, and can follow the natural expansion and contraction of the eaves gutter itself. Moreover, since the eaves gutter 1 is aligned with the joint member 2 having the same cross-sectional shape, the two are not easily detached, and synthetic rubber is used between the eaves gutter 1 and the joint member 2. Watertightness is ensured by applying caulking material.

At the other end of this eaves gutter, an end cap 5 is fitted as shown in FIG. Connect the eaves gutters. The joint member 6 at the projecting corner also has an abutment piece 61 and a recess 62, 62, respectively, and the structure of the joint for connecting both eaves gutters 1, 1 is the same as that of the joint member 2 described above. Further, although not shown in the drawings, the connection can be made in the same way at the inside corner by using an inside corner joint member having a structure in which the above-mentioned joint member 6 is reversed.

<Effects> As mentioned above, in the mounting structure of the present invention, the joint member plays the role of a stopper between the eaves and gutters, and it does not come off despite the extremely simple hooking method.
The structure also accommodates natural expansion and contraction of eaves gutters and joint members. Moreover, sufficient watertightness is ensured by the caulking material, making it extremely suitable as a joint structure for rain gutters on buildings.
