The roofing plates used for conventional metal sheet roofs are engaged with an engaging edge with the upper edge facing up and the lower edge folded back, and a hanger is attached to the upper edge and nailed. However, the engagement and fixation strength of the hangers alone is low and they tend to fall off due to external forces such as wind pressure, so it is necessary to increase the number of hangers, making the roofing work complicated.
For this reason, a method has been adopted to increase the fixation strength by forming a hanger body integrated with the upper engagement edge.
Since the bent upper edge is restrained in the lateral direction, it becomes distorted due to temperature changes, resulting in poor engagement and rainwater infiltration.

In addition, the vertical seams seen in the conventional single-moment roofing method using metal veneers are engaged from one side, so the overlap seams are only visible from one direction, and when viewed from the opposite direction, it looks like a long horizontal roof. It looked flat and had no three-dimensional effect.

The present invention was developed to improve these shortcomings, and has the following effects: it strengthens the engagement between the roofing boards, prevents rainwater from entering through the engagement area, and gives the roof thatched roof a three-dimensional appearance. It provides roof shingles that can be used for roofing.

In the figure, one edge of the short side of a rectangular metal plate 1 is bent downward to form an engaging portion 6, and the vicinity of the edge on the opposite side of this engaging portion 6 is bent downward, and further Fold it back to form a folded part 2 and project it forward, fold this extended part twice so as to stack it upwards, and bend the folded end upward to form a water stop rising part 5. Then, this double folded end and the previous folded part 2
A certain distance 1 is provided between the two ends, and the end thereof is an engaging part 3. Then, the water stop strip 4 is formed by forming a concave strip in a state in which the plates are double stacked at a position midway between the engagement 3 at the terminal end and the water cutoff rising portion 5 at the folded end. On the other hand, one end edge on the long side is bent downward to form the engaging edge 10, and the vicinity of the other end on the opposite side of the engaging edge 10 is bent upward, and then folded back to form the engaging portion 7.
A water stop strip 8 is formed by forming a convex strip at an intermediate position of the folded extension part, and a water cutoff section 9 is formed by bending this extension end upwardly. In the figure, reference numeral 11 indicates a decorative groove formed by the interval 1, 12 indicates a roof board, 13 indicates a rafter, and 14 indicates an eave bracket. Further, 15 indicates a nail fixed to the rafter.

Since the roofing board of the present invention is bent and formed to have the above-mentioned structure, when installing it, first, as shown in FIG. When the engaging edge 6 of the metal plate 1' is engaged with the engaging part 3 of the other metal plate 1', the folded part 2 of the metal plate 1' and the engaging edge 6 of the metal plate 1 face each other with a distance l, and a stop is formed. The water stripes 4 and the water stop rises 5 overlap the overlapping part of the metal plate 1, and rainwater does not leak from this part and does not circulate due to capillary action. In addition, in the case of vertical connection, as shown in FIG.
The water stop strip 8 and the bent portion 9, which are the water stop portion formed ahead of the engaging portion 7, are engaged with the metal plate 1.
As with the horizontal roofing, rain can be prevented from leaking from this area. Even when fixing, since the nails are driven into the deepest part of the overlapping part, there is no leakage from this part.

As shown in FIG. 6, the roof using the roofing board A of the present invention has a decorative groove 11 between the roofing boards A and A by the interval l formed by the folded part 2 and the engaging part 3. Unlike conventional single-letter roofs, the bevels can be seen from any direction, giving it a three-dimensional appearance and giving it a beautiful appearance.
