Regarding conventional long towel fabric cutting equipment,
The distance between the long towel fabric feed roller and the long towel fabric support base is set to an intermediate value between the thickness of the pile weave and the plain weave of the long towel fabric, and the feed roller comes into contact with the pile weave. Then, the pile weave is transferred, and the plain weave is idled to stop the transfer, and the boundary between the plain weave and pile weave is temporarily stopped at the feed roller position, and then the middle of the plain weave is cut with a cutting blade. I try to judge.

Therefore, in order to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks, the present invention aims to provide a raw material for forming a towel having a pile weave in the center and a plain weave at both ends, and a long length having pile weave and plain weave in the longitudinal direction. A cutting blade is provided for cutting the plain weave portion of the long towel fabric along the moving trajectory, and a cutting blade is provided on the long towel fabric feeding side of the cutting blade. When the tip is in contact with the plain weave part of the long towel fabric at an appropriate interval, the plain weave part is allowed to pass through, and when the tip part is in contact with the boundary between the plain weave part and the pile weave part of the long towel fabric, it is allowed to pass through. In the long towel fabric cutting device, a positioning piece having a receiving portion shaped to engage with the pile weave to prevent its passage is arranged so as to be movable up and down along the movement trajectory. By configuring the piece and the cutting blade so that the relative distance with respect to the moving direction can be changed, the long towel fabric can be cut so that the center position of the plain weave part in the moving direction is exactly perpendicular to the moving direction. To provide a cutting device for a long towel fabric which can easily and quickly carry out setup change work when the length dimension of a plain weave part of the long towel fabric is changed.

As shown in FIG. 2, when the long towel fabric 1 comes into contact with the receiving portions 50a, 50a, the feeding resistance of the long towel fabric 1 increases in the corresponding width portion, and the ball 36 of the slip means 33 increases.
is pushed up from the engagement groove 38, thereby stopping the rotation of the rotating wheel element 32a in the corresponding portion and stopping the transfer of the long towel fabric 1 in the corresponding width portion. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 14, the boundary part 1c between the plain weave part 1b and the pile weave part 1a of the long towel fabric 1 is the receiving part 5 of the upper and lower positioning pieces 50, 52.
Even if it is transferred obliquely with respect to 0a, 52a, the boundary portion 1c is ultimately parallel to the receiving portions 50a, 52a over the entire width, as shown in FIG. 14, 2. They can be aligned in a straight line. Thereafter, as shown in FIG. 13, the piston rod 11a of the cutting cylinder 11 is operated to project and the movable blade 9 is lowered, thereby causing the long towel fabric 1
The plain weave portion 1b is cut parallel to the boundary portion 1c at the center of its length. After cutting this long towel fabric 1, the towel on the tip side of this long towel fabric 1 is moved to a predetermined position. After that, each piston rod 11a, 14 of the cutting cylinder 11, the feeding cylinder 14, and the positioning cylinder 47 is
a, 47a are retracted to return to the state shown in FIG. 9, and then the long towel fabric 1 is cut into short towels by repeating the above operations.
