器の寿命が短く、定期的に点検・補修したり、交換した
りする必要があるので、例えば特開昭62−65049
号公報などに示すように像担持体と画像形成機器のいく
つかを一体としてプリントカートリッジとし、そのプリ
ントカートリッジを装置本体より脱着自在として点検・
補修作業、交換作業を容易としている。かかるプリント
カートリッジの像担持体は画像形成動作時に一定速度で
駆動することが周期ずれのない画像形成上重要であり、
そのためには装置本体側に支承した駆動軸と像担持体を
芯ずれやガタがないように連結する必要がある。
