性シール部1aを、他方の展開長さ寸法の長いフ
ランジ側A1には高圧縮性シール部1bを配設し
たことを特徴としている。

ランジ側A1には高圧縮性シール部1bを配置
し、少ない面圧で足りる展開長さ寸法の短かいフ
ランジ側A2には低圧縮性シール部1aを配設し
たもので、これによつて自動締付け装置等で機械
的に総て同トルクで締付けられても高圧縮性シー
ル部1bは高圧縮性を働かせてカバー部材Aに強
く押圧力を伝え、他方の低圧縮性シール部1aは
前記と逆に締付け力を緩和せしめて伝えるものと
なつて、展開寸法からすればそれぞれが適性で均
一な締付け力を得結果としてカバー部材A全体が
バランスの取れた優れた密封面圧を得た。
