なわち、本発明の埋設管破壊交換装置は、地中に埋設さ
れた管内に挿入される支持枠の頭部には複数の破壊羽根
をその前端を回動中心として内外方向に回動自在に配設
し、該支持枠の中心には駆動手段により前進後退する略
円錐状の拡開体を設け、該拡開体が前進したときに各破
壊羽根が外方に回動するようになし、該支持枠の後端を
埋設される新しい管の前端内に嵌着するようにしたこと

を新しい管(以下、「新管」という。)と交換する作業
を行なう際には、埋設される新管の前端内に埋設管破壊
交換装置における支持枠の後端を嵌着し、該新管を推進
装置により旧管の存する位置、即ち、新管を埋設すべき
位置に向けて推進させ(図1)、支持枠の頭部が旧管内
に入ったときに駆動手段により略円錐状の拡開体を前進
させる。すると、略円錐状の拡開体は各破壊羽根を強力
に外方に回動させる(図2)。各破壊羽根は旧管内で外
方に回動することにより旧管を内側から外方に強力に押
し広げて旧管を破壊する。以後、新管を推進装置により
推進させつつ適宜駆動手段により略円錐状の拡開体を前
進後退させて各破壊羽根を旧管内で繰返し外方に拡開さ
せて行けば旧管が完全に破壊されると共に新管が所定の
位置に到達する。これにより、旧管の破壊と新管の埋設
が完了する。尚、破壊された旧管の片は新管の周囲にお

の頭部2には複数の破壊羽根4をその前端5を回動中心
として内外方向に回動自在に配設する。6は破壊羽根4
の回動軸であり、7は回動軸6の軸受けである。図3に
示す事例においては4本の破壊羽根4が配設されている
が、破壊羽根4の本数はこれに限られるものではない。
各破壊羽根4は旧管3の内面に圧接する部分に超硬合金
等のチップ4aを固定するのが望ましい。8は破壊羽根
4の外方への回動を可能ならしめる透孔である。支持枠
1の中心には駆動手段9により前進後退する略円錐状の
拡開体10を配設し、該拡開体10が前進したときに各
破壊羽根4が外方に回動するようになす。駆動手段9と
しては例えば油圧ジャッキを用いる。支持枠1はその後
端11を埋設される新管12の前端13内に嵌着するよ
うになす。尚、新管12は適宜の推進装置(図示せず。

Claims (1)
持枠の頭部には複数の破壊羽根をその前端を回動中心と
して内外方向に回動自在に配設し、該支持枠の中心には
駆動手段により前進後退する略円錐状の拡開体を設け、
該拡開体が前進したときに各破壊羽根が外方に回動する
ようになし、該支持枠の後端を埋設される新しい管の前
端内に嵌着するようにしたことを特徴とする埋設管破壊
