Description
【考案の詳細な説明】
本考案は不活性ガスを充てんしてなる貯油槽に
設ける泡消火装置に関するものである。[Detailed Description of the Invention] The present invention relates to a foam fire extinguishing device installed in an oil storage tank filled with inert gas.
従来、石油タンク等、可燃性の油を貯える槽に
は泡消火装置が設けてある。この泡消火装置は第
1図に示すように、貯油槽aの側壁bに、泡放出
口cを設け、この泡放出口cに、発泡器dを設け
てある。発泡器dはチヤンバーeに発泡筒fが連
結してあつて、発泡筒fの下部には、側方に空気
取入口gが、またノズルhが設けてある。発泡筒
fは配管によつてポンプ、薬液タンク(共に図示
してない)に連結してある。そして発泡筒fの上
端には硝子封板iを設けて、発泡筒fを塞いでい
る。またチヤンバーeの頂部には、点検口jを設
けてあつて蓋kで塞いでいる。しかしながら近年
防火上、油の蒸発防止の目的で、貯油槽の上部空
間に不活性ガスを充てんするようになつて来
た。例えば石油の海上備蓄のタンカーを貯油槽に
するような場合、この貯油槽に約1800mmAg位の
不活性ガスを充てんしている。こうした貯油槽
に、従来の泡消火装置をそのまゝ設けたのでは、
点検時蓋kを開らくと、貯油槽aの不活性ガス
は、この点検口jより大気中に逸出する。そのた
め泡放出口cに弁を設けて、点検時弁を閉めてか
ら、泡消火装置の点検をしている。泡放出口cは
相当大口径であるので、弁の価格も高価である上
に、弁の開け閉め等不便であつた。本考案はこう
した欠点を解消するもので、装置点検上取扱い易
い、設備上のコスト安価な装置を提供するもので
