この考案は可燃性液体の洋上備蓄タンク構造物

一般に石油等可燃性液体の洋上備蓄タンクにお
いては、その底部および側部を二重殻構造とし、
ここに常時海水を充填してバラストタンクを構成
するとともに、備蓄タンク内の油火災時に熱を遮
断して災害が他の備蓄タンクに及ぶのを阻止する
水封タンクとしての機能をバラストタンクに持た
せている。この目的に使用される巨大な洋上備蓄
タンクでは、特に同タンクが空槽になつたとき
に、同タンク周壁に水封水による大きな圧力がか
かるため、バラストタンクは多くの鋼材を必要と
し、ひいてはコスト高を招くおそれがある。そこ
でこの問題を解決するために、第1図に示すよう
に、二重殻構造の側壁内部に水平仕切壁51,5
2を設けて、バラストタンクを複数に区分し、各
区分室53,54,55の頂部にタンク外に通じ
る通気管56,57,58を配することにより、
同タンクの水頭圧を軽減することともに、鋼材の
使用量を節減し、さらにバラストタンクに常時水
封機能を持たせるやり方が提案されている(実開
昭55−52495号公報参照)。しかし、このやり方で
は、万一、二重殻構造の内殻に孔があいて、備蓄
液体の漏洩事故がおきた場合、備蓄液体が通気管
を通つてバラストタンク外に漏れるおそれがあ

にそれぞれ延びる複数の通気管と、仕切壁をそれ
ぞれ貫通して同壁からその下の区画室内に垂下状
に突出しかつ上端が構造物の側部に開口した開放
管とを有するので、各区画室内の水面が開放管の
各突出下端より高くなると、各区画室内の空気は
開放管からは放出できなくなるが、通気管から自
由に放出することができる。また、万一、内殻に
孔があいた場合には、可燃性液体が区画室内に漏
出してここに溜まり、この液体が水面を徐々に押
し下げていつても、水面が開放管の各突出下端に
達するまでは、漏洩液体は開放管から外部へ流出
することがない。したがつて、その間に可燃性液
体の流出防止のための十分な措置を講ずることが

内には、それぞれ上から約1/3および約2/3の高さ
に水平仕切壁4,5を設けて、バラストタンクを
