【考案の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本考案は自動車ボデーのドア開口やウインドウ
開口に沿つて装着されるウエザストリツプに関す
るものである。

ば、第4図に示すようにウインドウ開口にはフラ

エザストリツプ4が装着される。ウエザストリツ
プ4は断面U字形でウエザストリツプ長手方向に
互に分断された多数の芯材片よりなる保形用芯材
43が埋設され、内部対向面からはフランジ保持
リツプ410が突出する。トリム部41と、その
一方の側壁、即ち車外側の側壁41aから突出す
る中空状のシール部42を備えている。そしてト
リム部41内のリツプ410でトリム部41内に
挿入されたフランジ2を挟持することによりウイ
ンドウ開口に装着され、シール部42がクオータ
ウインドウガラス3と接触することによりシール
作用をなす。なお、5はボデーパネル貼着したガ
ーニツシュである。

ツプにおいて、トリム部の他方の側壁の端部には
該側壁の外面側へ膨出して該側壁の他の部分より
も厚肉とした厚肉部を形成したことを特徴とする
