Two panels of such kinds are attached to a steel framed column 1, surrounding the latter.

2に示すように、幅方向の2箇所夫々の一方の面に、断
面V字形のパネル折り曲げ用の切り溝3をパネル上端か
らパネル下端にまでわたる状態で形成するとともに、他
方の面に、切り溝3を挟んで位置するパネル部分にわた
る幅を備えた可撓性の補強材の一例であるビニロンメッ
シュ4を、パネル上端からパネル下端にまでわたる状態
に接着して、切り溝3を折り線としてコの字形に折り曲
げ可能に構成され、折り曲げに伴い接触する切り溝3の
対向側面3a,3aを接着剤で接着固定することにより
、コの字形に構成されている。そして、耐火被覆Aが、
コの字形のパネル2の2つを、それらの対向片2Aが鉄
骨柱1のフランジ1Aの外側に重なる状態で、かつ、全
体として矩形を形成する状態に配設し、鉄骨柱1の上下
に間隔を隔てた箇所の接着した取付板5にパネル2の繋
ぎ板部2Bを釘6等により固定し、鉄骨柱1のフランジ
1A外面に接着した取付桟7に対向片2Aの端部を釘6
等により固定して構成されている。
