されている。上記耐火板8は間隙11を置いて複数個冷
却ドラムの軸方向に連設されて耐火板列が構成されてい
る。耐火板9は耐火板8と同じ構造で連設されて耐火板
列が構成されているが、その間隙12が耐火板8の間隙
11と重ならないように、両耐火板を互いに千鳥状にず
らして配置されている。取付け板13はスカム堰固定盤
14に固定されており、従って、スカム堰7は取付け板
13を介してスカム堰固定盤14により吊下げられた状
態で固定されている。15は耐火断熱シートで、溶湯の
高温がスカム堰固定盤14に伝達しないようにスカム堰
7と取付け板13の間に設けられている。

と共に、損傷した耐火板のみの交換で修復可能であるこ
とから総コストの低減が可能となる。
