Traditionally, the methods of displaying patterns based on color shading and grain size on cork boards, etc. have been to color the surface with paint, paint, ink, etc., or to display multiple different types of cork. Generally, materials are cut into a desired shape using a knife, polisher, etc., and then bonded together with an adhesive to form a pattern on the surface.

[Problems to be solved by the invention] However, since cork is a natural product, it is not possible to create a harmonious deep natural color by coloring the surface with paint. Since the finish is not smooth, the coloring becomes even more unnatural.

In addition, due to its characteristics, cork base material can be used as wall material, floor material,
In addition, it is often used for furniture, etc., and as a matter of course, abrasion resistance is required in these applications, which creates extremely harsh conditions for the coating layer on the surface.

In addition, the latter method of pasting together several types of cork moldings to create a pattern requires a high level of skill in cutting, gluing, and finishing, and has drawbacks such as requiring a great deal of effort to fit it into the desired position. It was hot.

The present invention eliminates many of these drawbacks and provides a method for easily and reliably creating a clear pattern on a cork base material without impairing the natural beauty, natural muted color tone, and beautiful pattern of cork. It provides:

The present invention relates to a cork base material A formed by integrally molding appropriately granulated cork grains 1 via an adhesive, and a method for providing a desired pattern on the cork base material A; After inserting a cylindrical pattern frame C in a desired shape into the mold B for forming the cork base material A as shown in FIG. The mold B is filled with cork grains 1 for forming the cork base material A, and the mold B is filled with cork grains 2 having a particle size different from that of the cork grains for the base material, or colored foamed plastic. After that, as shown in Fig. 3, the granules 2 in the cylindrical pattern frame C are left in the cork grains 1 of the mold B, and the cylindrical pattern frame C is pulled out and compressed and fixed by a conventional method. This manufacturing method is characterized by integrally forming a cork base material A as shown in FIG.

That is, the cylindrical pattern frame C, which is an important part of the present invention, has various shapes as shown in FIG. 1, and has a cross-sectional shape of a desired pattern. With this cylindrical pattern frame C, the cork grains 1 and the grain-shaped material 2 are separately filled into the mold B as shown in FIG. 2, and as shown in FIG. When removed, the grain-shaped object 2 having the same shape as the cylindrical pattern frame C is placed inside the cork grain 1 of the mold B without being distorted in an accurate pattern. Thereafter, a known method such as heating and compression fixing is applied to obtain a cork base material A having the same pattern as the surface even on the inside as shown in FIG. The finished cork base material A can be used as it is, or depending on the purpose, it can be strained with a knife to obtain a sheet-like product, or it can be cut to form decorations or the like.

This cylindrical pattern frame C is usually not subjected to strong loads such as compression, but is used only to fill the inside with the granular material 2, so it has a cylindrical shape with a complex and fine weak structure. It can be widely adapted to any desired pattern without any problems.

The cork base material A formed in this way is cork grain 1
The grain-shaped objects 2 having different external appearances form one type or many kinds of lumps and do not collapse, but the interior exists and maintains its color tone, so that a natural and deep color that harmonizes well with the cork grains 1 is obtained. Of course, as mentioned above, the formed pattern continues inside the same pattern as the surface, and the polishing and cutting of the surface can prevent stains and discoloration that tend to occur after long-term use. The cork base material A, which easily regains its initial marketability and is constantly used, especially when used for flooring, never loses its beauty.

In the drawings illustrating the present invention, a cylindrical pattern frame C is shown in which a pattern is formed in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the cork base material A using a mold B formed by a plate-like cork base material A. However, taking the plate-shaped cork base material A as an example, it is also possible to form a pattern parallel to or inclined to the plane of the plate-shaped object. The same thing can be applied to the three-dimensional mold B having a different shape, and the cork base material A dramatically improves its degree of decoration and produces high added value.

In addition, in this manufacturing method, cork grains 1 are charged into a mold B, and grain-shaped materials 2 are filled into a cylindrical pattern frame C.
There is no problem even if the cork base material A is formed by replacing the two with each other, and it is sufficient to form a pattern that suits each person's taste.

As explained above, the present invention uses a pattern frame on cork material to easily and reliably incorporate a pattern that best harmonizes with the color and pattern of the cork itself, making it possible to create beautiful expressions with variety. This is an innovative method for producing cork base materials suitable for home decoration such as flooring, wall materials, and furniture.
