Abstract

PURPOSE:To express a pattern clearly and reliably on a cork base, by a method wherein sticking through compression is performed after a pattern frame has been pulled out by putting a particulate substance which is different from the cork for the base in the pattern frame in the inside of a molding tool in which cork particles molding the cork base are packed. CONSTITUTION:A cork base A is formed unitarily by sticking a particulate substance 2 in a pattern frame C through compression by pulling out the pattern frame C by leaving the same within cork particles 1 of a molding tool B after the inside of the pattern frame C and that of the molding tool B are filled respectively with the cork particles which are colored or different from each other or in a different particle diameter from that of the cork for the base and the particulate substance 2 such as colored foamed plastics and the cork particles 1 for forming the cork base A, which has been obtained by granulating appropriately and applying an adhesive agent to the same after the cylindrical pattern frame C which is in a desired form has been provided within a molding tool B in an inserting state. A pattern harmonizing most favorably with a color and design possessed by the cork itself is contained by making use of the pattern frame to a cork material and beautiful expression having a variation becomes possible.

Traditionally, to display patterns based on color shading or grain size on cork boards, etc., the surface was swollen with paint, paint, ink, etc., or multiple different types of cork materials were created. It is common practice to cut and shape the desired shape using a knife, polisher, etc., and then bond them together with an adhesive to create a pattern.

However, since cork is a natural product, it is not possible to create a harmonious deep natural color by coloring the surface with paint, and in particular, objects made of cork grains do not have a smooth surface, making them even more unnatural. The color tone becomes thicker.

In addition, due to its characteristics, cork base materials are often used for wall materials, floor materials, furniture, etc. Naturally, these applications require wear resistance, so it is difficult to maintain the coating layer on the surface. The situation will be extremely harsh.

In addition, the latter method of pasting together several types of cork moldings to create a pattern requires a high level of skill in cutting, gluing, and finishing, and has drawbacks such as requiring a great deal of effort to fit it into the desired position. was there.

The present invention provides a cork base material A formed by integrally molding appropriately granulated cork grains 1 via an adhesive, and a method for providing a desired pattern on the cork base material A; After inserting a cylindrical pattern frame C in a desired shape into a mold B for forming the cork base material A as shown in FIG. Cork grains 9 for base 1, cork grains of different grains, etc., granule-shaped material 2 such as colored foamed plastic, etc. are placed in the above-mentioned mold B (cork base) A).
After filling the cork grains 1 to form the mold B, the grains 2 in the cylindrical pattern frame C are left in the cork grains 1 of the mold B as shown in FIG. This manufacturing method is characterized in that a cylindrical pattern frame C is sampled and compressed using a conventional method to form a cork base material A as shown in FIG. 4.

That is, the cylindrical pattern frame O, which is an important part of the present invention, has various shapes as shown in FIG. C, the cork grains 1 and the grain-shaped material 2 are separately filled into the mold B as shown in FIG. 2, and when the cylindrical pattern frame C is removed as shown in FIG. The cylindrical pattern frame C is inside the cork grain 1 of
The granular objects 2 having the same shape are arranged in an accurate pattern without being distorted. Thereafter, known methods such as heating and
By applying compression and fixing, a cork base material A having the same pattern as the surface is obtained up to its interior as shown in FIG. 4. The finished cork base material A can be used as it is, or depending on the purpose, it can be strained with a knife to obtain a sheet-like product, or it can be cut to form decorations or the like.

This cylindrical pattern frame C is usually not subjected to strong loads such as compression, but is used only to fill the inside with the granular material 2, so it has a cylindrical shape with a complex and fine weak structure. It is possible to see wide adaptability to the desired pattern without any problem.

The cork base material A formed in this way is often referred to as cork grains 1 because grain-shaped objects 2 having different external appearances from cork grains 1 are present inside the cork grains 1 without collapsing as one type or various types of lumps and maintain their color tone. Obtain a harmonious, natural and deep color.

Of course, as mentioned above, the formed pattern continues inside the same pattern as the surface, and by polishing and cutting the surface, it is easy to remove stains and discoloration that tend to occur after long-term use. The cork base material A, which has regained its initial marketability and is constantly used, especially when used for flooring, will never lose its beauty.

In the drawings explaining the present invention, a mold B is shaped to form a plate-shaped cork base material A, and a cylindrical pattern frame in which a pattern is formed in a direction perpendicular to the plate plane of the cork base material A. C is shown, but if we give an example limited to the plate-shaped cork base material A,
It is also possible to form a pattern parallel to or inclined to the plane of the plate-like object. The same thing can be applied to the three-dimensional mold B having a different shape, and the cork base material A dramatically improves the degree of decoration and produces high added value.

In addition, in this manufacturing method, cork grains 1 put into mold B
There is no problem even if the cork base material A is formed by reversing the granular material 2 filled in the cylindrical pattern frame C, and it is sufficient to form a pattern according to each preference.
