Abstract

PURPOSE:To keep off any undue discharge of a battery due to warning signals by assembling a light emitting diode in a tail lamp cover, and flashing the light emitting diode for the warning at time of parking for hours in an engine stop. CONSTITUTION:A light emitting diode 3 is installed in the center of a reflector 2 in a tail lamp cover 1, while a night long-hour parking switch is installed in a car, and this switch is turned on when intending to flash this diode in the tail lamp cover. When an approaching car recognizes this flashing of the diode 3 in the tail lamp cover and directs a beam to the diode for safety check, the reflector 2 glistens too, thus a warning effect is yet more increased. Since a current flowing into the light emitting diode is small, a discharge current is less than 1/100 of capacity for a battery mounted even if the LED flashing extends over one night through so that practicability is very high.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION FIELD OF INDUSTRIAL APPLICATION This invention relates to a warning for long-term parking of automobiles at night.

従来の技術 従来自動車は夜間の駐車に備えて駐車灯と反射鏡を具備

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Conventional automobiles are equipped with parking lights and reflectors for nighttime parking.

Problems with conventional technology Parking lights conventionally use light bulbs and consume a large amount of power, about 10W. There is no problem when used for short-term overnight parking, but if used for long-term parking, the battery discharges significantly, making it impractical.

Therefore, when parking at night, only the reflective mirror of the parked vehicle serves as a warning to approaching vehicles.

Under this warning, if the headlights of an approaching vehicle are pointing downwards or are not facing the reflector until just before the vehicle approaches, the reflector will not emit reflected light and the approaching vehicle will collide with the parked vehicle without noticing it. There are many accidents.

When an approaching vehicle notices the flashing LED in the reflector and directs the beam toward the LED to confirm safety, the reflector lights up, further increasing the warning.

Since 15 mA per LED is sufficient for the current flowing through the LED, a multivibrator is used for blinking, and the LED is connected to the load side of the multivibrator.

If the current flowing through one LED is 15 mA and the duty ratio is 1/2, the discharge current when LEDs are blinked for 10 hours at night is 15 mA x 2 (number of pieces) x 10 h (hours) x 1/2 (duty ratio). )=150mAh.

Since most of the capacity of an automobile's tower-mounted battery is 20 Ab or more, the discharge current required per night for blinking the LED is less than 1/100 of the tower-mounted battery's capacity, and there is no practical problem at all.

Effect 1 of the invention: Even when the light beam of an approaching vehicle is not directed toward the reflective mirror of a parked vehicle, a warning can be issued by emitting light from the LED in the reflective mirror, so it is fully predicted that the number of rear-end collisions will be reduced.
