Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify structure as well as to facilitate a manufacturing process by installing a side cover part, forming each oil passage in and around an input shaft and a countershaft, in a downstream end of an oil guide trough installed almost parallel with the input shaft and the countershaft. CONSTITUTION:A countershaft 6 is installed almost parallelly in the axial direction of an input shaft 4, while an oil guide trough 22 is installed almost parallelly in the axial direction of the input shaft 4 and the countershaft 6 at each upper part in an intermediate part case 12 and a side case 14, and a side cover part 26, formed with an oil passage 24 to guide oil into a specified part in and around the input shaft 4 and the countershaft 6, is installed in a downstream end of this oil guide trough 22. Since the oil passage 24 for those of input shaft 4 and countershaft 6 is installed in this side cover part 26, lubrication around these shafts 4, 6 is made possible owing to only the lubricating measure, there is unnecessary to install two lubricating devices for these shafts 4, 6, structure is simplified manufacture becomes facilitated, and cost can be reduced.

In addition, as a lubricating device for transmissions,
There is one disclosed in Publication No. 1. The transmission lubrication mechanism disclosed in this publication provides a feeding means such as a pump blade, screw, or tapered hole within the open end of the oil hole located on the outer periphery of the oil receiver pipe, without reducing the clearance. Additionally, the amount of lubricating oil leaked is extremely small, improving lubrication performance.
