It is well known that many security measures are taken to prevent unauthorized forgery or alteration of securities such as banknotes, securities, identification cards, and passports. Polka dots,
Colored fibers and security threads are used to maintain a high level of reliability. Colored paper and woven paper techniques are also effective safety measures. For example, British Patent No. 4419 (1819
Laminated paper with colored or printed intermediate layer (Japanese Patent Publication No. 49-36043) describes a dyeing method in which dye is mixed with starch or polymer synthetic paste in the middle of two layers and penetrates into the surface layer of the paper. , Utility Model Publication No. 49-14965 discloses a pseudo-voke paper in which a plastic film printed in multiple colors is inserted. If these known intermediate layers of paper, plastic film, and glue are present, the appearance and paper quality characteristics of securities paper cannot be obtained, and the evidence of the addition of the intermediate layer is easily discernible, so it is not always possible to ensure complete counterfeit prevention. From the above points of view, the present invention provides a method of dissolving the moisture contained in the wet paper produced in the papermaking process between the paper layers of the wet paper.
A water-soluble film with a design applied to the film surface by letterpress printing, offset printing, or intaglio printing using ink that is colored or has the function of photoluminescence, photochromic, or thermochromic is inserted, and the design on the film is transferred into the paper layer. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing securities paper.

The solubility in water is mainly controlled by the degree of saponification. PVA is a crystalline polymer, and its partially saponified product with weak hydrogen bonds in OH groups has the characteristic that it completely dissolves at a relatively low temperature (approximately 60°C) and easily becomes molecularly dispersed. In addition, there are other water-soluble polymer materials such as polyvinyl ether, polyvinylpyrrolidone, and carboxymethyl cellulose, which have film-forming properties, adhesive properties,
Saponification degree is 80~ from the viewpoint of economy, printing and papermaking workability.
Use PVA film belonging to 95 mol% partially saponified product.

得ることができる。 A small piece of the film (e.g., approximately 3 x 3 cm) or a roll film is provided with a detailed pattern by, for example, multicolor process printing or gravure printing, and this is inserted between wet paper sheets to create a paper sheet. It shows print quality (sharpness, line reproducibility) equivalent to or better than that of printing with moisture set type or oil-based ink, and there is no separation between the front and back sides of the paper, and the presence of an intermediate layer cannot be identified. A difficult plowing effect can be obtained. In addition, the paper has almost no transparency in the inserted part of the PVA film, and the transparency is similar to that of the non-inserted part, so there is no discomfort due to insertion, and the multicolored "watermark pattern" created by the interlacing can be observed with the naked eye. It is possible to obtain a security paper having a high degree of anti-counterfeiting property that allows immediate and easy determination of authenticity.

The securities paper manufactured according to the present invention does not cause separation of the paper because the film inserted between the paper layers completely dissolves during the papermaking stage, and it is easy to counterfeit by adding elaborate designs and functional materials by printing. It is extremely useful for preventing counterfeiting and alteration, since it is difficult to reproduce the interlocking effect that accompanies alteration.
