Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the assembly of a metal screen, etc., in shaping a solid tire for a fork-lift truck, etc., by embedding an annular ring having the slightly larger diameter than a base band in concentric form on a rubber trunk body and erecting the metal screen, etc., in radial form by a member which is installed outside the ring and has a U-shaped section. CONSTITUTION:A metal screen 6 is cut according to the sectional shape of a rubber trunk body 1'. One edge of the metal screen 6 is inserted into the groove part 4' of an installation member 4 having a U-section and supported in erection state. The installation members 4 on which the metal screen 6 is installed are laid at a certain interval along the outer peripheral surfaces of a pair of rings 3 and 3, and welded onto the rings 3 and 3. Then, the ring 3 is set in a metal mold, positioned in concentric circular form for a base band 2, and the liquid rubber such as urethane rubber is poured, and then vulcanization is carried out.

Solid type tires are commonly used on industrial vehicles, especially forklift trucks. Since solid tires are usually used under high load and low speed conditions, they are relatively hard and are molded as plain tires with no tread pattern using materials such as urethane rubber. In a work environment that is prone to slipping, there is a problem in that the grip of the tires on the frozen floor surface is reduced. Conventionally, as a solution to this problem, a method has been proposed in which a wire mesh, wire, etc. for anti-slip purposes is buried within the rubber body of the tire.
The following two methods have been disclosed as burying methods.

However, in the above-mentioned method of burying wire mesh, wire, etc., special processing is applied to the baseband side, and the wire mesh, wire, etc. is set while accurately aligning, or a flexible band-shaped body is used. It is necessary to plant wire mesh, wire, etc. in the tire, and after embedding and molding, cut the tire skin to remove the band-like part.
Assembling wire mesh, wire, etc. to the mold during vulcanization molding is a work process.
In particular, there is a problem in that the alignment is troublesome.

The present invention is constructed as described above, and as described above, a member is provided for attaching a wire mesh or the like formed in a band shape having a groove portion having a U-shaped cross section, and the wire mesh is attached to the groove portion of the member. etc., and this installation was done by arranging the members in the axial direction along the outer circumferential surface of a ring formed in an annular shape, such as wire mesh etc. extending radially, and fixing them at regular intervals. It has now become possible to assemble a buried member for preventing slipping through a simple process. In this way, by providing a separate buried member for slip prevention, and setting the buried member in the tire mold and embedding it in the rubber body, slip resistance can be easily achieved. It has now become possible to mold a solid tire. In other words, there is no need to perform special processing on the base bund or cut it after embedding molding, which was the case in the past. etc. can be set accurately in the buried position.

In addition, in the present invention, the ring constituting the buried member has a diameter slightly larger than that of the baseband and is buried concentrically within the rubber body, so that the impact on the ground surface is absorbed by the ring. This is a solid tire that can be cushioned by the rubber material interposed between the baseband, and has superior cushioning properties compared to the conventional method of embedded molding with one end of wire mesh, wire, etc. attached to the baseband. I was able to obtain the following.
