Prior Art It is widely known that corona discharge treatment is applied to the surface of thermoplastic resins for the purpose of improving the surface properties of thermoplastic resins such as polyolefins such as polyethylene and polypropylene and increasing their adhesion with paints, etc. There is. In addition, when attempting to improve the surface properties uniformly and sufficiently by such corona discharge treatment, the surface of the object to be treated should be passed between the electrodes as close as possible to the electrodes and at a uniform distance. It is also known that it is necessary to do this, and various ideas have been made and proposed so far. However, it is not so difficult to meet these requirements when the object to be processed is a flat, web-like thermoplastic resin, but it is not so difficult to meet these requirements when the object to be processed is a flat, web-like thermoplastic resin. In the case of molded bodies with surfaces, it is not easy to pass the surface to be treated between the electrodes sufficiently close to the electrodes and at a uniform distance.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention It is true that according to this device, by moving and rotating the upper electrode and the lower electrode according to the surface shape of the molded object, it is possible to uniformly apply corona discharge treatment to the surface of the molded object. Although it is possible to some extent, it is impossible to move the upper and lower electrodes so that the distance between them is completely uniform, and also to always match the shape of the discharge device to the surface shape of the object to be treated. Therefore, with this apparatus, it was not possible to obtain sufficiently satisfactory uniformity of processing, and there was also the problem that the apparatus and operation were extremely complicated.

According to the present invention, since an insulating member having a constant thickness is provided on the surface of the upper electrode made of a rotating body, the distance between the surface of the molded body to be subjected to corona discharge treatment and the electrode is set to a constant value corresponding to the thickness of the insulating member. By selecting the thickness of the insulating member, the distance between the surface of the molded body and the electrode can be arbitrarily set.
Therefore, in the present invention, the thickness of the insulating member can be easily determined from this viewpoint.

FIG. 1 is a partial perspective view of a corona discharge treatment apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG.
FIG. In Figures 1 and 2, 1 is a molded body to be subjected to corona discharge treatment, 2 is an upper electrode made of a rotating body that can rotate and move on the surface of the molded body, and 3 is finished in a shape that matches the surface of the molded body. 4 is a base plate supporting the lower electrode, and 5 is an insulating layer provided on the surface of the lower electrode. FIG. 3 is a detailed sectional view of the upper electrode 2, in which insulating members 6 having a constant thickness are provided at predetermined intervals on the surface of a rotating body constituting the upper electrode. As described above, the thickness of the insulating member 6 provided on the surface of the rotating body determines the distance between the electrode and the surface of the molded body. FIG. 4 shows an example of a method for adjusting the position of the upper electrode, in which the belt 10 and pulley 1
1, the upper electrode 2 is rotated over the surface of the molded body 1. On the other hand, the vertical movement of the upper electrode 2 is adjusted by the cylinder 12 by operating an electrode pressing solenoid (not shown). Note that in order to keep the pressing force of the upper electrode 2 against the surface of the molded body 1 constant, the pressure in the cylinder 12 is adjusted by a relief valve (not shown).
