Abstract

A method of applying paint to a thin walled article e.g. the inside of a cup shaped article, of electrically conductive material by applying a synthetic resin layer and baking the treated surface, employes inductive heating, the article being rotated in the magnetic field of an inductive coil nearby, until hardened. Alternative symmetrical and non symmetrical arrangements can be used. The peripheral speed of the rotating article is between 40 and 150 m/min.
