2. Description of the Related Art As shown in FIG. 5, a heater for a fluid such as fresh water is energized with an electric heater 1 placed in a heating tube 2 to heat a fluid 3 such as fresh water in a casing 12. This fluid flows into the casing 12 through the fluid inlet 13 and exits through the fluid outlet 14. Although the electric heater 1 uses a sheathed heater that itself has insulation performance, the insulation performance may deteriorate depending on the usage atmosphere and aging. As a countermeasure against this, an insulating plate 4 is used as a fixing plate for the electric heater 1. This material is generally dense or coarse-grained ceramic (cordierite or zircon). Note that a support rod 5 and a stopper 6 are arranged inside the heating tube 2 to fix the position of the insulating plate 4. Reference numeral 15 indicates an electric wire for the electric heater 1, and 16 indicates a spacer.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention When the electric heater 1 is energized, the inside of the electric heater hole 4' of the insulating plate 4 is heated to a high temperature as shown in FIG. If this heating rate is rapid or the heating temperature becomes extremely high, tensile stress t may occur at the outer edge of the insulating plate 4, causing cracks c.

Means for Solving the Problems The purpose of the present invention is to solve the above-mentioned problems. That is, the present invention provides an insulating structure for an electric heater that is inserted from its open end into a heating tube of a heater that heats a fluid such as fresh water. , the heater support tube is loosely fitted and supported leaving a gap in the radial direction, and the heater support tube with the electric heater supported loosely in this way is fixed to the central support rod extending in the axial direction with a fixing plate extending in the radial direction. At the same time, the tip of the support rod is left with a gap in both the radial and axial directions with respect to the support rod tube fixed in the axial direction on the circular end surface of the heating tube, and this gap is filled with electrical insulating material to support it. The electric heater has an insulating structure characterized by:

Function: Support the electric heater with a support rod so that it does not come into contact with the heating tube. Since the load of the support rod is supported by the support rod tube through the electrical insulating material, the electric heater and the heating tube can be electrically insulated.

As shown in FIG. 1, a support rod tube 8 is welded and fixed to the inner end surface of the heating tube 2, and the tip of the support rod 5 is placed inside the support rod tube 8 so as to be axially radially and not restrained from thermal expansion. Leave a gap a in both directions and fit. An electrical insulating material 9 is sandwiched between the support rod 5 and the support rod tube 8.

The support rod load is supported at the end of the heating tube, and the support portion is electrically insulated using an electrical insulating material 9. A heater support tube 10 is installed so as not to restrict the thermal expansion of the electric heater 1 and support rod 5 due to heating.
A gap b is provided in the radial direction, and a gap a is provided in the support rod tube 8 both in the radial direction and in the axial direction.

Effects of the invention According to the invention described above, the insulating plate 4 becomes unnecessary, and the thermal expansion of the heat transfer heater 1 with respect to the fixed plate 11 is released by the gap b. The gap a also allows thermal expansion in the axial and radial directions to escape. Therefore, a heater with a simple structure and high reliability can be realized without using special materials.
