[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] However, although the above-mentioned yarn splicing device is suitable for single yarns, when splicing so-called double yarns, which are two or more single yarns twisted together, the single yarns are untwisted. However, since the parent yarn is a double yarn, it is difficult for the untwisted yarn end to become entangled with the parent yarn of the partner to be spliced.
It was difficult to form a seam that was strong enough and had a good appearance.

[Operation] The overlapped yarn ends are twisted by the action of the compressed fluid from the yarn splicing nozzle, and the parent yarn portion is also twisted by the action of the compressed fluid from the false twisting nozzles placed on both sides of the yarn splicing nozzle. . This allows the fibers at the end of the yarn to be twisted into the parent thread of the partner to be spliced, thereby improving the strength and appearance of the seam. Therefore, in a twin yarn in which the parent yarn portion is made by twisting two or more single yarns together, fibers can be twisted at the yarn ends between the single yarns in the parent yarn portion.

Next, each yarn YB, YP is cut at a certain distance from the clamp position by cutters 16, 17, and the cut yarn ends are sucked into untwisting nozzles 8, 9 and untwisted. At this time, the thread shifting lever 20
takes a retracted position away from the yarn, and the yarn ends are sucked deep into the untwisting nozzles 8, 9 as shown in FIG. After the untwisting process, the thread shifting lever 20 moves the thread again.
The yarn ends are pulled out from the untwisting nozzles 8 and 9 by making a large turn in the direction approaching YB and YP, so that both yarn ends are overlapped in the yarn splicing hole 5 of the yarn splicing nozzle 4. In this state, first, by applying a swirling flow in the respective twisting directions to each parent yarn portion YO using the false twisting nozzles 21 and 22, the twisting of the parent yarn portion YO between the false twisting nozzles 21 and 22 and the splicing nozzle 4 is performed. is untwisted, and then the yarn splicing nozzle 4 applies a swirling flow to the yarn end to twist both yarn ends together, and the fibers YX at the yarn end are connected to the untwisted parent thread of the partner to be spliced.
It enters between the single yarns Y1 and Y2 of YO and becomes twisted. Therefore, the strength of the seam is increased and its appearance is also improved.
