Abstract

PURPOSE:To ease the maintenance of a battery unit, the handling in manufacturing, and assembly-designing to a main body by using a surface mounting type battery, and covering it with a printed board and an insulating cover. CONSTITUTION:An insulating cover 4 is fitted to a unit in which a battery is soldered to a battery mounting substrate 6 separated from a main body substrate. This needs no attention for handling because of the complete nonexposure of the battery and wiring. Also the insulating cover 4 has a flexible nail structure 5 in a substrate fitting part, and can be fitted and removed without using any jig. This permits the placing of the battery on any position, no possibility of a battery short circuit, and direct supply of a maintenance part.

Problem to be Solved by the Invention However, as shown in FIG. 6, when the battery is exhausted, it is necessary to resolder the battery, making maintenance difficult. Further, in FIG. 7, when the battery is exhausted, it is easy to replace the battery, but there is a problem that the structure of the battery holder becomes complicated and the mounting position and space on the board are restricted.

Function The battery unit of the present invention has the main circuit and the battery on separate boards, so the battery can be placed in any position, and the battery is easy to handle due to the board on which it is mounted and the insulating cover. , there is no possibility of short circuit. From this,
In addition to being able to be supplied as a maintenance part, it can also be handled as is during production 1 and does not require any special jigs or storage equipment.

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of an insulating cover 4 seen from the side in an embodiment of the present invention. Since the battery and wiring are not exposed, no care is required in handling. This insulating cover 4 has a flexible claw structure 5 on the board mounting part, and is easy to cut and use with jigs and tools. Never used (can be installed and removed).
