【考案の詳細な説明】[Detailed explanation of the idea]

〔産業上の利用分野〕 本考案は自動車のマークプレート等に適用して
好適な表示板に関し、特に文字、マーク、記号等
(以下これらを総称して表示文字という)に立体
感ないし奥行感を与えるようにしたものである。 〔従来の技術〕 表示文字に立体感ないし奥行感を与えるため、
文字部と文字影部を色別または明暗差を与えると
共にこれら両部を透光部とし、それ以外を遮光し
た表示板は一般に第5図および第6図に示す如く
構成されている。すなわち、1は透明樹脂、スモ
ーク樹脂等の透光性樹脂またはガラスによつて形
成された表示板で、この表示板1の表示部Aには
表示文字として2つのローマ字「A」「B」が表
示されている。これらの文字「A」、「B」は表示
板1の裏面に塗布された透光性の文字部印刷層2
によつて表示され、この文字部印刷層2に沿つて
塗布された透光性の文字影部印刷層3により立体
感ないし奥行感が与えられるもので、それ以外の
部分は黒色塗料等による遮光膜層4によつて遮光
されている。文字部印刷層2と文字影部印刷層3
を透光性塗料で形成する理由は、夜間照明を可能
にするためである。 〔考案が解決しようとする問題点〕 しかしながら、このような従来の表示板1にお
いては、文字部印刷層2、文字影部印刷層3およ
び遮光膜層4を表示板1の裏面にベタ塗りしてい
るため、各層2,3,4の見切り部分、すなわち
境界の合わせが非常に難しく、時間がかかり、し
かも不良率が高いという問題があつた。 〔問題点を解決するための手段〕 本考案に係る表示板は上述したような問題点を
解決すべくなされたもので、透光性材料からなる
表示板の一方の面の表示部に色または明暗が異な
る透光性の文字部印刷層と文字影部印刷層とを若
干のズレをもつて積層形成し、それ以外の部分に
は遮光膜層を形成し、前記文字部印刷層と文字影
部印刷層とで文字等を立体的に表示するようにし
たものである。 〔作用〕 本考案においては文字部印刷層、文字影部印刷
層および遮光膜層が積層形成されて存在しないた
め、各層の見切り部分での合わせ作業が簡単で、
良好な表示文字を形成することができる。 〔実施例〕 以下、本考案を図面に示す実施例に基づいて詳
細に説明する。 第1図は本考案に係る表示板の第1実施例を示
す要部拡大断面図である。なお、図中第5図およ
び第6図と同一構成部材、部分に対しては同一符
号を以つて示し、その説明を省略する。同図にお
いて、表示板1の裏面には透光性を有する文字部
印刷層2が全面に亘つて形成され、その上に同じ
く透光性を有する文字影部印刷層3が形成され、
さらにその上に遮光膜層4が形成されている。 すなわち、本実施例においては文字部印刷層
2、文字影部印刷層3および遮光膜層4を表示す
べき文字例えば「A」にしたがつて積層形成し、
遮光膜層4が施されていない領域,の文字部
印刷層2と文字影部印刷層3によつて表示文字
「A」を立体的に表示するようにしたものである。 第2図a,b,cはそれぞれ前記文字部印刷層
2、文字影部印刷層3および遮光膜層4の印刷領
域ないし範囲を示すものである。すなわち、同図
aの斜線部は文字部印刷層2で、表示板1の裏
面全体に形成されている。表示文字「A」は破線
で示されているが、この時点ではあくまでも便宜
上表示しているにすぎない。次に、同図bの実線
で示された表示文字部を残してそれ以外の部
分、すなわち斜線部に文字影部印刷層を形成す
る。 この場合、本実施例は左斜め前方からの光によ
つて生じる影を前記文字影部印刷層3で示すよう
にしているため、該印刷層3の形成に際しては予
定されている表示文字「A」の非影側見切りライ
ン11より文字影部印刷層3を外側にはみ出させ
ている。このはみ出し部分は、第2図cの斜線
部分に遮光膜層4が重ね塗りされることにより
塗りつぶされるため、白抜きされた影付表示文字
部に対して何ら問題になることはない。つま
り、文字部印刷層2と文字影部印刷層3との見切
りラインは、その一部だけに厳密さが要求される
だけで、残りの部分は文字影部印刷層3が見切り
ラインよりはみ出している分には一向かまわず、
また前述の厳密さも文字部印刷層2の上に文字影
部印刷層3を重ね塗りしているので、第6図およ
び第7図に示した従来の表示板において要求され
る厳密さに比べて緩やかである。すなわち、従来
の表示板は前述した通り同一平面内において文字
部印刷層2と文字影部印刷層3と遮光膜層4の見
切りラインをピツタリつける必要があるが、本考
案においてはその必要が全くなく、文字影部印刷
層3および遮光膜層4の形成が容易とされる。 なお、影付表示文字部は第2図aに鎖線によ
つて便宜上表示された表示文字「A」と完全に一
致している。 文字部印刷層2としては表示文字「A」を強調
させるため昼間よく目立ち、夜間照明時は透過率
が大で明るく光る色が望ましい。一方、文字影部
印刷層3としてはこの逆で、表示文字「A」より
目立たなく、透過率を落とした色が良い。文字部
印刷層2と文字影部印刷層3の配色例を下表に示
