Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve fire preventive performance by constituting a furniture in use of a wood chipped board as a base board in which nonflammable wood chipped pieces filled and adhered with a nonflammable inorganic compound are adhesion-formed integrally. CONSTITUTION:Nonflammable treatment is carried out by putting wood chipped pieces for sufficient soak-impregnation into the water solution of water soluble inorganic salt. First, it is subjected to soak-impregnation into the water solution of first liquid, for example, such as MgCl2 or the like. Subsequently, it is soaked into the water solution of second liquid such as Na2CO3 or the like that produces a water insoluble nonflammable inorganic compound in reaction with the first liquid. The nonflammable inorganic compound is blended thereinto at a rate of 33wt.% or more with respect to the wood chipped pieces. This nonflammable chipped pieces are placed into a blending device and applied and adhered with an adhesive substance, and thereafter, thermal pressing formation is effected therefor. The thus obtained nonflammable wood chipped board is employed as a base board and then a decorative sheet-shaped substance is adhered over the entire surface thereof, thus obtaining a decorative laminated board. The decorative laminated board is used for the top board, bottom board, side boards, rear board, and the like of a furniture main body.

The wood chips used in the present invention are obtained by cutting softwood materials such as pine, cedar, and cypress, or hardwood materials such as lauan, Kabono mullet, poplar, and willow using a cutting device such as a chipper or a flaker. It can be obtained in the form of chips, flakes, strands, etc. This wood chip has cell pores consisting of wood cells, conduit pores, or plate grooves, and the cell wall at the outer periphery of the wood chip has been torn and has numerous cracks.

A nonflammable inorganic compound is filled into the voids such as cell pores and conduit pores of the dried wood chips, or the nonflammable inorganic compound is fixed or adhered in a layer along the inner wall of the cell pores, and then the wood chips are A noncombustible wood chip is obtained by fixing or adhering the noncombustible inorganic compound to the outer periphery of the chip. This nonflammability treatment can be performed, for example, by the following steps. That is, the wood shavings are soaked in an aqueous solution of a water-soluble inorganic salt (hereinafter referred to as the "first solution").
Thoroughly immerse it in the liquid to allow it to be impregnated. At this time, it is effective to forcibly accelerate the impregnation treatment by applying reduced pressure or increased pressure. In addition, the wood chips can be made into a high moisture content state without drying them.
Alternatively, after drying, the material may be immersed in water or hot water to absorb water, until the material is saturated with water, and then immersed in the first liquid for diffusion impregnation. As the first liquid, MgCQ2. Mg

Next, a dewatering process is performed to remove the excess first liquid. The liquid removal process is carried out, for example, by centrifugal liquid removal or washing of shirts and dough pickled in water, and by removing the excess first liquid, non-combustible inorganic compounds are excessively produced on the outer periphery of the wood chips. This improves the diffusion and impregnation of the aqueous solution that will be impregnated next. It also prevents nonflammable inorganic compounds from being produced in a free state that is not attached or fixed to the wood chips.

Next, a compound liquid that reacts with the first liquid to produce a water-insoluble, nonflammable inorganic compound (hereinafter referred to as the "second liquid") is added to and mixed with the wood chips using a blender, spray, etc. By dipping, the wood chips are impregnated with the second liquid. After the reaction is completed, the excess second liquid is removed by centrifugal deliquidation, washing with water using a shower, soaking, or the like. The second liquid immersion process and the liquid removal process may be repeated multiple times as necessary. After the liquid removal treatment, it is dried to a moisture content of 25% or less, preferably 7 to 15%. Since this nonflammable inorganic compound is water-insoluble, after drying, it fills, adheres, or adheres to the inside of the cell pores of the wood chips or the inner wall surface of the cell pores, and also adheres or adheres to the outer periphery of the wood chips. Ru. As a result, the nonflammable inorganic compound is present in a form that blocks or fills the pores and cracks in the wood chips.

It is preferable that the nonflammable inorganic compound is mixed in at a ratio of 33% by weight or more to the wood chips, and if it is less than this, sufficient fireproof performance cannot be obtained. In addition, in order to increase the reaction efficiency between the first liquid and the second liquid, the addition and mixing of the second liquid is carried out under a heated atmosphere.
In particular, it is preferred to carry out at a temperature of 40°C or higher, more preferably 50°C or higher. Alternatively, the first liquid and the second liquid may be heated and the wood chips are immersed therein, or the first liquid and the second liquid may be immersed in electrical or mechanical vibration using ultrasonic waves or a vibrator. , the diffusion and reaction of the treatment liquid into the wood chips can be carried out well.

The non-combustible wood shavings are then placed in a mixing device to add and adhere the adhesive substance. In the mixing device, arbitrary additives such as a water repellent and a smoke reducing agent can be mixed at the same time as necessary. Adhesive substances include urea resin, melamine resin, isonoanate, urethane resin, Evokin resin,
Synthetic resin adhesives such as vinyl acetate resin, phenol resin, or modified resins thereof are preferably used. The adhesive substance can be mixed with a nonflammable inorganic compound of the same type or different from the nonflammable inorganic compound filled or fixed in the cell pores of the wood chips, thereby further enhancing the fire retardant performance of the furniture. can be improved.
