Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve fire proofing performance by constituting a furniture in use of a laminate material obtained such that a plurality of incombustible woody veneers are laminated which is filled or adhered with an incombustible inorganic compound. CONSTITUTION:An incombustible treatment is conducted by sufficiently soak-impregnating woody veneers in the water solution of water soluble inorganic salt. First, it is subjected to soak-impregnation in water solution of the first liquid, for example, such as MgCl2 or the like and, second, it is immersed in the water solution of second liquid, for example, such as Na2CO3 that produces a water insoluble incombustible inorganic compound in reaction with the first liquid. The incombustible inorganic compound is blended at 33wt.% or more with respect to the woody veneer. After the incombustible woody veneer applied with an adhesive substance is laminated in plural-sheets relation, they are press-adhered by the use of a press clamping device such as hot press, cold press and the like. At the time when a plurality of incombustible woody veneers are laminated, it is preferable that the fiber directions thereof are allowed to intersect each other arbitrarily and also preferable that all of the fiber directions are allowed to lie in the same direction. By employing the thus obtained laminated material, a decorative laminated board is obtained that is adhered with a decorative sheet substance in its entire surface. The decorative laminated board is used for the top board, bottom board, side boards, rear board, and the like of a furniture main body.

By the way, in the construction of houses, from the perspective of fire prevention, restrictions are placed on the structure and materials used under the Building Standards Act.
Interior decoration restrictions are imposed on indoor rooms, and wall materials are required to be made of non-combustible or semi-non-combustible materials.

However, if a fire actually breaks out indoors, the furniture installed in the room and the items stored inside the furniture will ignite, intensifying the fire, and the restrictions under the Building Standards Act alone will not be sufficient for fire prevention purposes. There was a problem with not being able to achieve it. Ignition of furniture, etc. is the biggest cause of fire spread.

Means for Solving the Problem> The above problem is achieved by attaching multiple non-combustible wood veneers, each of which has a non-combustible inorganic compound filled or adhered to the inside of the cell pores and/or the inner wall surface, through an adhesive substance. A decorative sheet-like material is applied to the front surface of the substrate, the front and back surfaces, or the entire front surface including the butt edge, using a laminated material that is bonded so that the fiber directions are arbitrarily orthogonal or that the fiber directions are all in the same direction. The problem is solved by furniture characterized in that at least a part of the structural member is made of a decorative board formed by adhesion.

The wood veneer is obtained by cutting logs or flitches of trees such as cedar, pine, toga, cypress, lauan, and capor using a cutting device such as a rotary lace, a half-rotary lace, or a slicer. This wood veneer has many cell pores consisting of wood cells, conduit pores, or thickness pores, and these cell pores are opened on its surface, or numerous cracks are exposed. .

This nonflammability treatment can be performed, for example, by the following steps. That is,
The wood veneer is sufficiently immersed in an aqueous solution of a water-soluble inorganic salt (hereinafter referred to as "first solution") to impregnate it. At this time, it is effective to forcibly accelerate the impregnation treatment by applying reduced pressure or increased pressure. Alternatively, the wood veneer may be brought into a high moisture content state without drying, or after drying, it may be immersed in water or hot water to absorb water to saturate it, and then immersed in the first liquid for diffusion impregnation. Examples include aqueous solutions such as The immersion treatment of the wooden veneer in the first solution varies depending on the conditions such as the species of wood, the thickness of the board, and the impregnation method, but is generally carried out for about 30 minutes to 6 hours at intervals. By immersing the wooden veneer in the first solution, ions of the solute inorganic salt diffuse into the cell pores of the wooden nesting board.

Next, a dewatering process is performed to remove the excess first liquid. The liquid removal treatment is carried out by means such as centrifugal dehydration or washing with Java or dobuzuke, and by removing the excess first liquid, an excessive amount of non-combustible inorganic compounds is removed from the surface or outer periphery of the wood veneer. This suppresses the formation of the aqueous solution and improves the diffusion and impregnation of the aqueous solution that will be impregnated next. It also prevents nonflammable inorganic compounds from being generated in a free state that is not attached or fixed to the wood veneer.

Next, a compound liquid that reacts with the first liquid to produce a water-insoluble, nonflammable inorganic compound (hereinafter referred to as the "second liquid") is added to and mixed with the wood veneer using a blender, spray, etc. The wood veneer is impregnated with the second liquid by dipping. After the reaction is completed, the excess second liquid is removed by centrifugal deliquidation, washing with water using a shower, soaking, or the like. The second liquid immersion process and the liquid removal process may be repeated multiple times as necessary. After the liquid removal treatment, it is dried to a moisture content of 25% or less, preferably 7 to 15%. Since this nonflammable inorganic compound is water-insoluble, after drying, it fills in, adheres to, or adheres to the inside of the cell pores of the wood veneer or the inner wall surface of the cell pores, and also adheres to or adheres to the front and back surfaces of the wood veneer. Ru. As a result, the nonflammable inorganic compound is present in a form that blocks or fills the pores and cracks that appear on the surface of the wood veneer.

It is preferable that the nonflammable inorganic compound be mixed in at a ratio of 33% by weight or more to the wood veneer, and if it is less than this, sufficient fire protection performance cannot be obtained. Further, in order to increase the reaction efficiency between the first liquid and the second liquid, it is preferable that the addition and mixing of the second liquid be carried out under a heated atmosphere, particularly at a temperature of 40°C or higher, more preferably 50°C or higher. Alternatively, the first and second liquids may be heated and the wood veneer is immersed in them, or electrical or mechanical vibrations may be applied using ultrasonic waves, vibrators, etc. when immersing the first and second liquids. , the treatment solution diffuses and reacts well into the wood veneer. Note that the first
The order of treatment with the liquid and the second liquid does not matter, and it goes without saying that the treatment with the second liquid may be performed first. Nonflammable inorganic compounds that adhere to or adhere to the front and back surfaces of the wood veneer are removed by brushing, vacuuming, etc., as necessary.

An adhesive substance is applied to at least one side of the obtained noncombustible wood veneer using an adhesive application device such as a blender, a sprayer, or a 70-coater. As the adhesive substance, synthetic resin adhesives such as urea resin, melamine resin, incyanate, urethane resin, epoxy resin, vinyl acetate resin, phenol resin, or modified resins thereof are preferably used. This adhesive substance is the same as a nonflammable inorganic compound that is filled or fixed to the cell pores and/or inner wall surface of the wood veneer.
Alternatively, different types of nonflammable inorganic compounds can be mixed and used, thereby further improving the fireproof performance of the furniture.
