However, when these devices or similar devices were used to conduct a fish race involving, for example, Yamame trout, it was difficult to line up the race fish at the starting line (an opening/closing gate provided in the aquarium). In other words, fish races, like horse races, are competitions for the time to cover (swim) a certain distance.
It is essential to line up the race fish at the starting line (openable gate in the tank). Therefore, the inventor studied the habits of fish in detail and completed this invention by taking advantage of the fact that fish gather in the shade. In addition, in order to make the fish swim while giving the impression of a heated race to the finish line, the inventor of the present invention aimed to make the fish move in a straight line with respect to the water flow when cultivating fish such as yamame trout. He discovered this and thought of applying it to fish races. From the above points of view, this invention provides a fish racing facility that allows a heated race to take place by taking advantage of the straight-line nature of the fish, and allows a large number of spectators to enjoy the real thrill of the race.

That is, the fish racing facility of this invention includes an aquarium having a predetermined length, a means for causing a water flow in the water filled in the aquarium, an opening/closing gate and a fish detection means provided in the aquarium, and a gate located close to the opening/closing gate. The invention is characterized by having a start tank provided with a gate and a shielding plate that creates a shade close to the opening/closing gate of the start tank. In addition, with this invention, the start tank is covered with a shielding plate that creates a shade near the opening/closing gate, so that it can be opened and closed freely.
Another feature is that the fish are kept on standby. Furthermore, this invention is characterized in that the water tank is made of a transparent material, and a plurality of transparent water tanks are arranged in parallel. Another feature is that the plurality of transparent water tanks are installed at an angle, and the means for causing water flow in the transparent water tanks is water discharged from a circulation pipe.

Next, an embodiment of the fish race facility according to this invention will be described based on the drawings. In Figs. 1 and 2, 1 is a transparent water tank made of tempered glass, plastic, etc., and for example, a pair of fish racing facilities in an artificial pond. They are placed side by side by building bridges. This transparent water tank 1
is designed to have an inclination i of, for example, i=0% to 3% by adding heights to the pair of bridges, and water is supplied to the upstream side of the transparent water tank 1 by a circulation pump 2. When supplied, water flow is automatically triggered. Of course, the means for causing water flow in the transparent water tank 1 is not limited to such an inclination of the transparent water tank 1, but may also include forcibly supplying water with a water pump or providing a screw in the transparent water tank 1 to circulate the water. etc. An opening/closing gate 11 is provided at one end of the transparent aquarium 1, and a fish detection means 12 serving as a goal is provided at the other end of the transparent aquarium 1. The opening/closing gate 11 has a net-like water-permeable structure, and each gate in each course 3 divided by the course frame 3 is automatically opened and closed at the same time by electric means such as a motor or a solenoid. Incidentally, in the illustrated example, it rotates toward the upstream side. The goal fish detection means 12 is composed of an optical sensor, a micro switch, etc. provided at the passing position. A rectifying tank 21 is provided in the goal part, and the water supplied from the plurality of water discharge pipes 22 to the first tank 25 flows from the lower part of the upper partition plate 23 to the second tank 26.
and from the upper part of the lower partition plate 24 to the third tank 27
The water is sent to the transparent water tank 1, where it is rectified and uniformly sent to the transparent water tank 1. Further, a start tank 13 in which fish can stand by is provided at the end of the transparent aquarium 1 on the side of the opening/closing gate 11. This start tank 13 is partitioned by the above-mentioned opening/closing gate 11 and a partition net 15 provided on the downstream side of the opening/closing gate 11, and a shielding plate 17 is provided above the opening/closing gate 11 side to create a shade, taking advantage of the fish's habits. There is. The fish gather on this shielding plate 17 and prepare for the start. This shielding plate 17 is removed from the start tank 13 by a sliding type or the like at the time of starting, and when the opening/closing gate 11 is opened and the shielding plate 17 is removed, the fish start all at once and move against the water flow. Then swim with all your might. 18 is a discharge tank provided on the downstream side of the start tank 13, and V
A letter-shaped discharge port 19 is formed. When using the fish race facility of this invention, one or several fish are appropriately thrown into each course of the starting tank 13, water is supplied to the transparent aquarium 1, and a water flow is caused. At this point, the fish is on the shield plate 17.
They gather in the shaded area and stand by.
When the predetermined time has come, open the opening/closing gate 11, slide the shielding plate 17, and start the start tank 13.
When removed from the water, race fish such as yamame trout lose their shade and begin to swim all at once toward the water stream, rushing up the slope toward the goal. Therefore, the fish detection means 12 detects the finishing order, and displays the finishing order on an electronic bulletin board 30 such as a large screen.

Since the fish race facility of this invention is configured as described above, it is possible to have the fish standby at the starting line without fail, and also to have the fish swim in a straight line, creating an atmosphere of a heated race to the finish line. I was able to make it swim while holding it. In addition, spectators can enjoy watching from the sides of the transparent water tank without looking into it from above, so even if a large number of spectators are accommodated, there is almost no problem in watching the race.
