(Prior Art) Conventionally, as shown in FIG. 4, this type of printing method involves gravure printing or offset printing of a desired car body color ink b on the printing surface of printing paper a such as high-quality paper, art paper, Miracoat paper, etc. printing method by printing,
Alternatively, coat the top coat of the car body on the printing surface of a thin metal plate of aluminum foil or plastic film, or create color chips (colored small pieces) by silk screen printing, and paste the color chips on the color sample table or catalog printing paper. There are known methods of attaching.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) However, among the above methods, in the former printing method, the car body color ink b is easily absorbed into the micropores c between the fibers formed in the printing paper a. There is a problem in that the color tones are visually different from those of the actual vehicle because the colors lose their luster, and when printing metallic paint colors, only the ink is absorbed by the printing paper and only the metallic pigment is covered with the printing paper. Since it remains on the printing surface, there is a problem that metallic color printing cannot be performed. In addition, the latter method of pasting is inefficient as it takes a lot of time to create the color chips and pasting them onto the printing paper, and also creates an unnatural appearance because the pasting creates a step between the printing paper and the color chips. Moreover, there is a further problem that the color chips fall off from the printing paper over time.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the present invention provides a method for printing a car body color on printing paper used for a catalog or a color sample list, in which a clear varnish is applied by silk screen to the printing surface of the printing paper. A clear varnish layer is formed by printing, a gray ink is silk screen printed on the clear varnish layer to form a gray ink layer, and a car body color ink is further silk screen printed on the gray ink layer. do.

(Function) Since the clear varnish is silk screen printed on the printing surface of the printing paper, the fine pores of the printing paper can be filled with the clear varnish, and the ink printed on top can be prevented from being sucked into the printing paper. In addition, since gray ink is silk screen printed on the clear varnish layer, the desired car body color printed on the gray ink layer is glossy,
It is possible to print without losing the metallic effect.

On the actual vehicle, a black paint with a brightness of about N=3 is electro-deposited on the body, a gray undercoat is applied on top of that, and then a body color paint is layered on top of the undercoat. Since the method of the invention performs laminated printing in the same way as the actual vehicle, the color sample has excellent gloss and metallic tone equivalent to that of the actual vehicle.

Then, as shown in the first figure, letters, numbers, symbols, ruled lines, etc., which are printed in advance on the printing surface of the printing paper 1 by gravure printing or offset printing, are printed on the car body color printing predetermined portion 4 of the printing unit 3 as shown in the second figure. Clear varnish (trade name: D, L, W, #800, manufactured by Seiko Advance Co., Ltd.) was silk screen printed as shown in the following, and the clear varnish layer 5 was formed by air drying. Next, gray ink (product name D, L, W, #710 (black): D, L, W,
#120 (white) 1:10 mixed ink, brightness N=6,
Seiko Advance Co., Ltd.) was silk screen printed and dried at a temperature of 80° C. for 20 minutes to form a gray ink layer 6. Subsequently, silk screen printing of each car body color ink was repeated on the surface of the gray ink layer 6 and drying was repeated for 20 minutes at a temperature of 80°C to form each car body color ink 7. Further, a transparent polyester film having a thickness of 16 μm was laminated over the entire front and back sides of the printing paper 1 to form a coating 8.

(Effects of the Invention) According to the present invention, since the clear varnish layer is formed on the printing surface of the printing paper, ink printed on the clear varnish layer can be prevented from being sucked into the printing paper, and the clear varnish layer can be prevented from being sucked into the printing paper. Since a gray ink layer is formed on top of the gray ink layer, the car body color printed on the gray ink layer can be printed in a color tone with excellent gloss and metallic tone equivalent to that of the actual vehicle, and the printed car body color can be printed on the gray ink layer. Unlike conventional color chips, the chips do not fall off the printing paper, and furthermore, they have the advantage that they can be printed separately with normal gravure printing or offset printing.
