Abstract

PURPOSE:To correct bending of a conductor so as to reduce a step difference between a pair of the conductors by pressing in the insulating trolley wire conductor, when it is inserted from an end part of a conductor joint, while engaging a groove streak of the conductor with an edge part of a stopper piece of the conductor joint. CONSTITUTION:This insulating trolley wire connecting device has a conductor joint 1 and a pressure spring means 2, and the conductor joint 1 is formed into a bar-shaped unit of section in squared shape with one side open and provided with a pair of stopper pieces 5, 6 protruded facing to the inner in an opening edge part. The pressure spring means 2 is arranged in an internal surface of a bottom piece part 7 of the conductor joint 1 to provide a pressing surface 8, opposed to insides of the stopper pieces 5, 6, and also having a spring 9 for energizing the pressing surface 8 in a direction of approaching the insides of the stopper pieces 5, 6. This spring 9 is formed into a leaf spring, for instance, of almost W shape. When conductors 11, 12 of insulating trolley wires 3, 4 are inserted from an end part of the conductor joint 1, bending, even when it is provided in the conductors 11, 12, is corrected in a direction of extending the bending when a groove streak 16 is pressed in along edge parts of the stopper pieces 5, 6.
