Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate a fear of a slip accident occurring to a passenger even when an escalator is installed for an outdoor use and wet by rain by forming recessed parts for preventing a slip in the upper surface part of a line of protrusion. CONSTITUTION:A total of a footboard 20 composing the upper surface part of a footstep is formed of a light alloy die cast. Constitution of the footstep is formed such that a number of lines of protrusions 23 forming a cleat 22 are molded in a ribform manner and protruding manner in a longitudinal direction on the upper surface of a flat base plate part 21, and recessed parts 24 for preventing a slip are formed in the upper surface part of each line 23 of protrusion. The footboard is used for the footstep of an outdoor escalator and a moving pavement, and even when the footboard is wet by rain, a passenger is prevented from slipping down because of the passenger walking rapidly on the footboard during running operation of the footboard, and a risk for a passenger is prevented from occurring.

(Prior Art) As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, an escalator step 1 is composed of a tread 2 on the upper surface, a cleat riser 3, and a bracket 4 that supports these. A pair of left and right front wheels 6 are attached to the lower front end of the bracket 4 via a front wheel axle 5, and a pair of left and right rear wheels 8 are attached to the lower rear end via a rear wheel axle 7.

The step 1 is connected to the front wheel shaft 5 by a pair of left and right step chains 9, and several other steps are arranged in an endless conveyor shape.
In this state, the vehicle rotates and transports passengers between the upper and lower floor entrances while being guided by the left and right front and rear wheels 6°8 and the front and rear wheel guide rails 10 and 11, respectively.

The treads 2 of each step 1 are designed to ensure the safety of passengers.
A large number of protrusions 2a constituting the cleat 2a are protruded from the top surface in the front-rear direction, and although not shown, these protrusions 2a mesh with the comb (<shi) of the entrance/exit, so that the ridges on the footboard 2 The com serves as a support for passengers' footwear and foreign objects to be rescued. Further, from the left and right edges to the front edge of the footboard 2, yellow caution markings 12 are colored in the form of bands to prevent passengers from getting their footwear caught between the footboard and the skirt guard or between the front step and the footboard.

(Problem to be solved by the invention) By the way, the treads 2 of the steps 1 of the above-mentioned escalators, moving walkways, and other passenger conveyors are generally made of die-cast light alloy. The upper surface of the many constituting protrusions 2a is very smooth. For this reason, when the tread 2 gets wet with rain water on escalators and moving walkways used outdoors, which have been in increasing demand recently, they become extremely slippery, and when the tread 1 is running on the tread 2, it becomes extremely slippery. However, if a passenger walks too quickly, there is a risk of slipping, and if a passenger slips and falls, there is a risk of serious injury.

(Function) The footboard for a passenger conveyor with the above structure has a recess for preventing slipping on the upper surface of the ridge, so even if it is installed on an outdoor escalator or a step on a moving walkway and gets wet with rain water, it will not work.
This prevents passengers from walking on the stairs in a hurry and slipping and falling, thereby preventing danger to the passengers.

In this configuration, a large number of rib-like protrusions 23 forming the cleat 22 are formed to protrude from the upper surface of a flat base plate 21 in the front-rear direction. Four anti-slip parts 24 are provided on the upper surface of each of these protrusions 23. The anti-slip recesses 24 are formed in large numbers at appropriate intervals on the upper surface of each protrusion 23 in the form of a V-groove perpendicular to the longitudinal direction (front-rear direction) at the same time as the step plate 20 is die-cast.

If the tread 20 having the above structure is installed as the upper tread of an elevator or a moving walkway, even if it is installed outdoors and is wet with rain water, the upper surface of each protrusion 23 will be able to move in this longitudinal direction ( A large number of anti-slip recesses 24 in the form of V-grooves perpendicular to the longitudinal direction) are formed at appropriate intervals, so even if a passenger walks on them in a hurry even when the steps are running, they will not slip. You will no longer have to worry about falling over.
This will help prevent danger to passengers' feet.

In the above embodiment, the anti-slip recesses 24 were formed on all of the protrusions 23, but it is also possible to form the four anti-slip parts 24 on every other or every two protrusions 24. It is sufficient to provide the recesses 24 to the minimum necessary size, taking into account the pitch and the like.

Since the present invention is configured as described above, the anti-slip recess is provided on the upper surface of the protrusion that constitutes the cleat, so even if it is provided on an outdoor escalator or a step on a moving walkway and gets wet with rain water, the recess can be used. This prevents passengers from slipping and falling when walking in a hurry even if they are driving on the stairs.
A treadle for a passenger conveyor with great safety that can prevent danger to passengers can be obtained.
