Detailed Description of the Invention "Field of Industrial Application" This invention safely processes medical waste such as syringe needles, absorbent cotton, and bandages from the time the waste is placed into a container until the treatment is completed. ``Prior art and its problems'' Concerning a disposable safe disposal container that can be used for safe disposal Conventionally, medical waste such as needles, absorbent cotton, and bandages was disposed of in boxes with an open top; Waste treatment companies repacked the waste into large containers such as tanks, transported it, and either incinerated it or disposed of it in a landfill. However, in this method, in handling and processing during transportation or processing steps,
There was a risk that this waste would be exposed outside and come into contact with workers and the general public. However, medical waste is often highly toxic and contains pathogenic bacteria, and if this waste adheres to the hands or fingers of the person handling it, pathogenic bacteria may enter the body from wounds etc. There is a risk of infiltration and infection with diseases, and therefore, the disposal of this medical waste has now become a social problem, and safe disposal measures are urgently required.

On the other hand, syringes used for various purposes such as blood collection are disposed of by simply putting the cap over the needle or by removing the needle from the syringe barrel after capping the needle. There is a risk of getting infected with hepatitis B, AIDS, etc. due to the risk of pricking one's own fingers when the cap is turned over, or the contents of the syringe sticking to hands or fingers when removing the needle from the syringe barrel. there were. In order to solve these drawbacks, various types of storage containers have recently been proposed that are equipped with means for removing syringe needles, etc. However, if the storage container is accidentally knocked over, blood, etc. may leak outside and cause harm to the human body. In addition to the risk of contact, this container has the drawback that only the needle is removed and stored, so disposable syringes and other medical waste cannot be stored.

As the filler, a sealing material or an elastic material such as rubber or synthetic resin that can be burned or melted by heat can be used. The filler prevents the liquid inside the container from leaking if the container falls over, and also burns or melts during incineration to promote steam to flow out from the input port. The input port 4b has a large opening. The part 4C has a shape in which small elongated holes 6a, 8b that can be engaged with the base of the injection needle are connected, and the large opening 4C serves as a guide for engaging the injection needle into the small elongated holes 6a, 8b. It also serves as an input hole for inputting other medical waste such as syringes and absorbent cotton. This large opening is suitable for the size of the medical waste you are trying to dispose of! 8 can be formed into an appropriate size. The small elongated hole 6a is used for a lock type syringe, and the small elongated hole 8b is used for a regular type syringe. The small elongated hole 6a is formed with four steps in the negative direction, and an appropriate step position can be selected depending on the size of the syringe.

The outer circumferential surface of the container of the present invention is preferably marked with a mark of a medical institution, etc., or colored in a special color.By doing so, it is possible to identify the container as a container for medical waste. In addition, it is a good idea to apply a heat-resistant paint such as silicone, which will not burn unless the temperature exceeds a certain temperature, to a part of the outer circumferential surface of the container. It is possible to check whether medical waste has been treated at a temperature above a certain temperature that completely burns or completely sterilizes it.

In the case of a regular type injection needle, first insert the injection needle into the large opening 4C, then move the injection needle to the small elongated hole 6b, and lock the base of the injection needle to the outer peripheral surface of the lower end of the injection port 6b. By gently tilting the syringe barrel part, the needle is released by lever action and falls into the container. In the case of a locking syringe, insert the syringe needle into the large opening 4C, move it to the small elongated hole Ba, and select the position of the stepped part where the base of the syringe needle is appropriately locked depending on the size of the syringe. Then, when the syringe barrel is rotated, the corner of the rectangular syringe needle base aligns with the elongated hole 6.
It is locked on the side a, and the injection needle is unscrewed, detached from the syringe barrel, and falls into the container. When medical waste is not to be disposed of, by pushing the screw 18 downward, the protrusion 15 that is fitted into the locking piece 12 of the rotary lid 8 moves downward, and the fitting is released and the rotary lid 8 is removed. The input port is closed by the force of the spring.

In this way, once the container is filled with medical waste,
If it is transferred to an incinerator and then put into a two-stage combustion completely odorless smoke type incinerator, the filler and the plastic input port forming member will burn or melt, and the airtightness of the opening will be lost. The liquid inside the container evaporates and the flammable vapors burn. In the steam incineration process, whether the contents have been completely sterilized or not is confirmed by whether or not the silicone paint is removed by incineration. After that, it is either pressed and disposed of in a landfill, or processed for resource recovery.

"Effects of the Invention" As described above, according to the present invention, medical waste can be disposed of without being directly touched by workers during the disposal and treatment process. This eliminates the risk of workers becoming infected with disease germs during disposal and processing. Furthermore, according to the processing container of the present invention, when not in use, the airtight state is maintained by the filling material interposed between the top lid and the inner lid, so even if a worker accidentally knocks down the container, blood inside the container can be removed. Since there is no risk of harmful substances leaking outside, it is extremely safe, and since the needle can be disposed of in the container without directly touching the needle, there is no risk of workers coming into contact with blood. Further, according to the present invention, since the medical waste inlet is formed as a separate piece made of plastic, there is a risk that the syringe will break when the regular injection needle is removed because the plastic is flexible. In addition, when incinerated after disposal, the plastic burns, breaking the airtightness of the container, promoting the escape of internal steam, and eliminating the risk of the container exploding.
