[Prior Art] As a conventional contact tip for carbon dioxide gas welding, there is one shown in FIG. 5, for example. This device is described in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 60-151679, in which a through hole 23 for welding wire is provided in a contact tip body 21 made of copper or copper alloy, and a power supply portion of the contact tip body 21 is provided with a through hole 23 for drawing wire for welding. A ceramic cover 28 for protecting the contact tip 24 is screwed onto the contact tip body 21. The drawing wire for welding is brought into surface contact with the through hole 23 of the contact chip body 21 via the block material 26 with the leaf spring 27, and power is reliably supplied to the drawing wire for welding. This improves the efficiency of welding work and allows for semi-automatic or automatic welding. The present invention provides a contact chip for carbon dioxide gas welding that is suitable for welding.

[Problems to be solved by the invention] However, conventional contact tips for carbon dioxide gas welding have a structure in which a ceramic cover is screwed onto the contact tip body, making it difficult to machine. Due to the screw precision of a certain ceramic cover, as shown in Figure 5a, the center of the through hole of the contact tip body and the outlet hole of the cover is misaligned, making it difficult for the welding wire to pass through. There was a problem in that the through hole wore out and the life of the contact chip was shortened.

In addition, because the centers of the through hole and exit hole are misaligned, the drawn wire for welding is gathered to one side of the hole, making it impossible to obtain a sufficient area for the power supply part and making the welding arc unstable. There was a problem.

Furthermore, a cover with a larger exit hole has been proposed to improve the passage of the welding wire, but due to the gap between the exit hole and the welding wire, fine dust generated during welding can be trapped inside the contact tip. The particles penetrate into the power supply area and adhere to the power supply part, making the power supply unstable and causing welding defects.

[Structure of the invention] To achieve the above object, the present invention provides a contact chip made of copper or copper alloy and having a through hole for welding wire drawing along the central axis, and a cover made of ceramic material. A guide hole is formed that is concentric with the exit hole of the wire drawing for welding provided in the welding wire, a part of the contact tip is inserted into this guide hole to form a fitting part, and a cover is screwed onto the contact tip. That is.

Reference numeral 1 denotes a contact chip body made of copper or copper alloy, and a through hole 3 for welding wire drawing 2 is provided along the central axis of the contact chip body 1. A notch 5 is provided in the axial direction to expose the through hole 3, a semicylindrical block material 6 that fits into the notch 5 is inserted, and a leaf spring 7 is used to push the block material 6 into the through hole. 3, the welding wire drawing 2 is pressed into the through hole 3. Reference numeral 8 designates a cover made of ceramic, and this cover 8 is provided with an exit hole 9 for the wire drawing 2 for welding, and a guide hole 10 concentric with this exit hole 9 is formed. The tip of the power supply part 4 of the contact chip body 1, that is, the part concentric with the through hole 3, is inserted into the guide hole 10 to form a fitting part 11, and the cover 8 is attached to the contact chip body 1.

In this way, the through hole 3 of the contact chip body 1
Since the center of the outlet hole 9 of the cover 8 and the center of the outlet hole 9 of the cover 8 coincide,
The drawn wire 2 for welding is supplied smoothly, does not hit the through hole 3 or the exit hole 9 unevenly, and the contact area of the contact tip 1 at the power feeding part 4 is sufficient, stable power is supplied, and The hole 3 will not wear out. Furthermore, the exit hole 9 of the welding wire drawing 2
Since the fitting portion 11 is provided near the contact tip, fine dust generated during welding does not enter the inside of the contact chip and adhere to the power supply portion, resulting in stable power supply and improved durability.
