The tip 6 passes through the tip and further protrudes from the tip of a tip 6 which is screwed to the tip. A nozzle 7 is screwed to the tip of the curved guide by an insulating joint 8. Reference numeral 9 denotes a shielding gas outlet, which is formed so that shielding gas is supplied from a shielding gas supply device (not shown) through a shielding gas pipe 10 and a shielding gas passage 11. 12
is a torch switch, and while the worker is holding the torch body 1, the operator presses the torch switch 1 with his or her fingers, etc.
By inserting 2, ON-OFF control of a welding power source, gas supply device, etc. (not shown) is performed.

In general, soft metal wires such as aluminum or wire electrodes with small diameters tend to buckle when being fed, so a resin liner such as Teflon or a lubricant with a small coefficient of friction is also used. This resin liner is sensitive to heat, and since the liner tip 3a is in contact with the metal inner guide 4, when the inner guide 4 is heated by welding heat, the liner tip 3a may be burnt out. If the feeding of the wire electrode 5 is not smooth, the gap with the base material will not be stable,
There were cases where arc disturbances and gas shield disturbances occurred.

If the liner is replaced with metal to prevent burnout of the liner tip 3a, the frictional force with the welding wire will increase at the curved portion, making it impossible to feed the wire electrode 5 smoothly.

The present invention eliminates the above-mentioned drawbacks of the conventional method, and a heat insulating member having high heat resistance and poor thermal conductivity is interposed between the inner guide 4 and the liner 3.

An embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to FIG. FIG. 2 is a sectional view showing an embodiment of a welding torch according to the present invention, and the same reference numerals as in FIG. 1 indicate the same parts. Reference numeral 13 denotes a heat insulating member interposed between the tip 3a of the liner 3 and the inner guide 4, and a through hole 14 is provided in the liner 3 so that the wire electrode 5 can pass therethrough.
and is connected to the through hole of the inner guide 4. Since the heat insulating member 13 also serves as a guide for the wire electrode 5, it is desirable to use a material that causes as little friction as possible against the wire electrode 5, such as ceramic with fine holes (porous material is formed). Furthermore, it is also possible to use a lubricant such as molybdenum disulfide.

Further, it is preferable to provide the heat insulating member 13 on a straight portion of the curved guide 2, and if it is provided on a curved portion, the wire electrode 5 may be caught, the feeding resistance may increase, etc.
There are difficulties in processing and assembly.

As described above, since the present invention is a welding torch in which a heat insulating member is interposed between the inner guide and the liner, the resin liner can be set inside the curved guide, so wire feeding performance is good. Furthermore, welding quality is improved because there is no arc disturbance or gas shield disturbance caused by unstable wire feeding.

In addition, in an experiment, when the wire feedability was compared using a resin liner inside the conduit and a resin liner and an iron liner only in the curved guide section, the resin liner improved the wire feed rate by about 10% compared to the iron liner.
