【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明は、主として缶入,瓶入飲料の商品を販売する自
動販売機に関する. 〔従来の技術〕 頭記した自動販売機では、その庫内に搭載した商品ラッ
クとしてサーベンタイン式ラックが多く採用されている
.かかるサーペンタイン式ラックは、周知のようにラッ
ク内の通路に収納した商品を自重落下式に下方へ搬出す
る方式のものであり、通常は商品ラックの下端から搬出
した商品をそのままシュータを転勤させ”ζ本体ケース
のフロントパネルの前面下部に設けた商品取出口に取り
出すようにしている. 一方、前記のように商品取出口が低い位置に設置されて
いると、利用者が商品取出口より商品を取り出す際に、
腰を屈めて無理な姿勢をとらなければならない不便さが
ある. そこで、利用者が立ったままの姿勢で商品を楽に取り出
せるように、商品取出自の位置をフロントパネルの下部
から中段位置に移して設けるとともに、該商品取出口と
庫内側での商品ラックの出口との間を直接結んでエレベ
ータ機構を設け、商品ラックから搬出された商品を商品
取出口まで持ち上げ搬送するようにしたものが、実開昭
60−5571号公報などで公知である. 〔発明が解決しようとする課題〕 ところで、昨今の自動販売機は多セレクションの併売機
が主流となっており、ますます大形化する傾向にある.
このような併売機では、本体ケースの庫内に左右に並べ
て複数の商品ラックが設置されている. したがって、このような大形の併売機に前記したエレベ
ータ機構をそのまま適用するとすると、庫内の各商品ラ
ックごとに商品取出口との間にエレベータ機構を設置す
る必要があって機内構造が複雑化する他、各基のエレベ
ータ機構の相互干渉を避けるためにフロントパネルに設
けた商品取出口が横幅の広いものとなって自動販売機の
デザイン性が損なわれる. 本発明は上記の点にかんがみなされたものであり、多セ
レクシッンの大形併売機にも容易に対応して左右に並ぶ
各商品ラックから落下搬出した商品をフロントパネルの
上方位置に設けた商品取出口へ送出(き、併せて商品の
取出し操作性も改善して利用者へのサービス性の向上が
図れるようにした自動販売機を提供することを目的とす
る.〔課題を解決するための手段〕 上記課題を解決するために、本発明の自動販売機は、左
右に並ぶ各商品ラックより搬出した商品を中央箇所に集
めるシュータないし横搬送機構と、前記シュータないし
横搬送機構から受け取った商品を上昇搬送して商品取出
口の背後に連設した上部シュータへ受け渡すNti送機
構とを備えた構威するものとする. そして、前記の構成における横搬送機構は、エンドレス
ベルトの周上にフィンガを備え、モータ駆動により商品
ラックから搬出された商品を受け取って縦搬送機構の位
置まで搬送する水平移動式コンベアとして構威すること
ができる.また、縦搬送機構は、エンドレスベルトの周
上にフィンガを備え、シュータないし横搬送機構から受
け取った商品をモータ駆動により上部シュータの位置ま
で持ち上げ搬送する垂直移動式コンベアとして構成する
ことができる. 一方、商品取出口に連設した上部シュータには、縦搬送
機構から受け取った商品を横臥姿勢から起立姿勢に変更
させて商品取出口へ送出する姿勢制御機構を備えことが
できる. また、利用者へのサービス性向上を図るために、商品取
出口には、商品の到達を検知して開き、かつ商品の外部
取出しを検知して閉じる自動開閉式扉を備えことが好ま
しい. さらに、商品取出口は、デザイン効果の向上とともに、
商品取出口の位置を明確に識別できるように、フロント
パネルより前方に出窓式に突き出して形或するのがよい
. 〔作用〕 上記のIl戒で、販売信号に基づき庫内の商品ラックか
ら商品が下方に払出されると、商品は商品ランクの出口
に通じるシュータないし横搬送機構を介して左右中央の
所定位置に移送され、この位夏で縦搬送機構に受け渡さ
れる.次いで縦搬送機構は商品を受容して上方に持ち上
げ搬送し、その上端位置で横臥姿勢のまま上部シュータ
に放出する.一方、上部シュータに放出された商品は、
シュータ面上を転勤する過程で姿勢制御機構により横臥
姿勢姿勢から起立姿勢に向きを変えて商品取出口の内部
のステージに着地する.そして、商品取出口に設けた商
品有無検知センサにより、商品が商品取出口に到達する
とセンサの信号を基に自動開閉式扉が開放し、さらに利
用者が商品を外部に取り出すと扉が自動的に閉じて再び

できる. 〔実施例〕 第1図ないし第3図は本発明一実施例の横或図、第4図
,第5図は異なる応用実施例の構或図である. まず、第1図ないし第3図において、■は自動販売機の
本体ケース、2はその前面扉としてのフロントパネル、
3はフロントパネル2の中央位zに設けた商品取出口、
4は本体ケース1の庫内に左右に並べて収設した複数の
サーベンタイン式商品ラックであり、庫内側には左右に
並ぶ商品ラック4の下部に商品ラックからの搬出商品を
中央箇所に集める下部シュータ5と、該シュータ5の底
部に位置を合わせて設置した縦搬送機構6と、前記商品
取出口3の背後に連ねて庫内側には縦搬送機構6との間
を連係する上部シュータ7を装備している. ここで、商品取出口3は、フロントパネル2より前方へ
出窓式に膨出形成された透視形の開閉扉3lを装備して
構威されたものであり、かつ開閉扉31は例えば光電式
の商品有無検知センサ (図示せず)の検知信号を基に
、商品取出口内に商品が到達されると自動的に開き、商
品取出口から外部に商品が取り出されると自動的閉じる
ようにした自動開閉扉である.さらに第3図に明示され
ているように、商品取出口3に連設した上部シュータ7
のシュータ面上にはここを転動する商品を横臥姿勢から
起立姿勢に変えて商品取出口3へ送り込む姿勢制御s構
としてのガイドビン71を備えている.一方、庫内側に
設けた縦搬送機構6は、上下一対のスブロケット6lの
間に張架したエンドレスベルト62に対し、その周上に
定ピッチ間隔おきに商品を受容保持するフィンガ63を
備え、図示されてない駆動モータで定方向に巡回駆動さ
れる垂直移動式コンベアとして構或されている. なお、前記した商品取出口3の自動開閉扉31,商品ラ
ンク4,縦搬送機構6は、販売信号を基に図示されてな
いコントローラからの指令で動作制御される. 次に商品販売動作について説明する.まず、缶,瓶入り
商品8は各商品ラック4に前方より投入して収納されて
いる.ここで、販売待機状態からコインを投入して商品
選択釦を押すと、販売信号を基に選沢された商品ラック
4が動作して1本の商品8を下方に落下搬出する.また
、商品ラック4から搬出された商品8は下部シュータ5
の斜面を滑り落ちて縦搬送機fIII6のフィンガ62

部のステージ上に着地する.また、商品取出口3に商品
8が到達したことが商品有無検知センサで検知されると
、いままで閉じていた扉3lが自動的に開放する.そし
て利用者が商品取出口3より商品8を外部に引き出すと

実施例における下部シュータ5に代えて水平移動式コン
ベアとしてなる横搬送機構9を備えたものである.この
横搬送機構は第5図に明示されているように、左右一対
のスプロケット9lの間に張架されたエンドレスベルト
92の周上に定ピッチ間隔おきにフィンガ93を設けた
ものであり、モータ駆動により左右方向に移動する.そ
して商品ラック4から落下搬出した商品を受容し、縦搬
送機構6まで移動して受け渡す.それ以降の商品搬送動
作は先記の実施例と同様である. 〔発明の効果〕 本発明による自動販売機は、以上説明したように構戒さ
れているので、次記の効果を奏する.(1)多セレクシ
ゴンの併売機に対応して、左右に並ぶ各商品ラックから
搬出した商品を一箇所に集めた上で、縦搬送機構を介し
てフロントパネルの中段位置に配備した商品取出口へ送
出することかできる. (2)利用者は立ったままの楽な姿勢で商品取出口から
商品の取り出すことができる. (3)機内での搬送過程で商品を横臥姿勢から起立姿勢
に変えて商品取出口へ送出するようにしたので、利用者
が商品取出口より商品を容易に掴み出すことができる. (4)商品取出口の開閉扉を自動開閉扉としたことによ
り利用者自身による扉の開放操作が不要となり、さらに
品取出口を出窓式に構成することによりデザイン効果と
ともに利用者から見て商品取出口の位置が明確になるな
ど、利用者に対するサービス性の向上が図れる.
