    軸方向両側に、アキシアル磁気軸受の１対のステ
    ータが設けられ、回転部材の一端側に、回転部材
    の軸方向の位置を検出するためのアキシアルセン
    サが設けられている磁気軸受装置において、 回転部材に温度上昇が生じていない常温時のア
    キシアルセンサ側のアキシアル磁気軸受ステータ
    と鍔状部との間隙が、運転時の目標の間隙より小
    さく、常温時の反対側のアキシアル磁気軸受ステ
    ータと鍔状部との間隙が、運転時の目標の間隙よ
    り大きいことを特徴とする磁気軸受装置。
