成されたトナー像を未定着状態に転写されて搬送
されて来る用紙を、前記加熱ロール1と加圧ロー
ル2とで加熱圧着して定着させ、剥離爪7によつ
て加熱ロール1の表面から剥離したのち、用紙ガ
イド5に沿つて図示を省略した排出ロール部へと
搬送するように構成されていた。しかしながらこ
のような構成の定着装置は、前記ロール部に紙詰
まりが生じ、これを取除くため、剥離爪7を取付
けた支持部材4を軸3を支点として上方に回動さ
せて紙の取出口を広げたとき、当該剥離爪7の刃
先は用紙を取出す方向に向いてしまい、この刃先
にオペレーターが用紙を除去するため前記加熱ロ
ール1と加圧ロール2の後方に手を差入れようと
するとき接触して怪傷をするといつた欠点をもつ
ていた。

剥離爪を備えた支持部材最大開放位置方向に開い
たとき、当該支持部材に取付けたレバーが回動さ
れて前記ストツパーピンに接触することにより該
レバーに設けたストツパーが剥離爪の一部を押圧
して刃先を下向きの状態にしてオペレーターが用
紙の取除き作業中に当該剥離爪によつて手に怪傷
をすることを防止すると共に該作業を容易にした
複写機の定着装置を提供することを目的とする。

体の保守、点検の際にも安全性が充分確保できる
といつた効果がある。

ンを備えた支持部材を設けることによつて、前記
剥離爪を有する支持部材を回動させて上方に開放
したとき、レバーの一側が剥離爪を有する支持部
材の最大開放位置において前記ストツパーピンに
当接されて回動範囲を規制され、この規制によつ
て連結杆のストツパーによる剥離爪の一側を押圧
する範囲も規制し、当該剥離爪の刃先が下向きの
状態となるようにしたことを特徴とする複写機の
定着装置。
