一外周に接するように配置することによつて、図
示を省略した感光体の転写点で当該感光体の表面
に形成されたトナー像を未定着状態に転写されて
搬送されて来る用紙を、前記加熱ロール1と加圧
ロール2とで加熱圧着して定着させ、剥離爪7に
よつて加熱ロール1の表面から剥離したのち、用
紙ガイド5に沿つて図示を省略した排出ロール部
へと搬送するように構成されていた。しかしなが
らこのような構成の定着装置は、前記剥離爪7の
下方に紙詰まりが生じ、これを取除くため、剥離
爪7を取付けて支持部材4を軸3を支点として上
方に回動させて紙の取出口を広げたとき、当該剥
離爪7の刃先は用紙を取出す方向に向いてしま
い、この刃先にオペレーターが用紙を除去するた
め前記加熱ロール1と加圧ロール2の後方に手を
差入れようとするとき接触して怪傷をするといつ
た欠点をもつていた。

対し、ガイド板側には支持板を設け、該支持板に
は、前記取付部材のスライド孔に嵌め込み、且つ
該スライド孔をスライドするピンを設けると共
に、定着装置自体のフレームの上部の適所にはス
トツパーを設けることによつて、前記剥離爪の支
持部材を軸を支点として上方に回動させたとき、
ガイド板の後端が前記ストツパーにあたつて前方
にスライドし、このスライドしたときのガイド板
の先端部が前記剥離爪の前方に突出してこれをカ
バーしてオペレーターが紙詰まりを起こした用紙
を取出すとき当該作業がしやすいと共に該作業時
にオペレーターの手が剥離爪の刃先に触れて怪傷
などしないようにした複写機の定着装置を提供す
ることを目的とする。

体を連結板16に連結すると共に、これをスライ
ド可能とする20,21を設け、前記支持部材1

前記用紙ガイド板15の後端がフレーム8の上部
に設けたストツパー23に当接されることによ
り、当該用紙ガイド板15を引張スプリングの弾
力に抗して矢印に示す方向へ押しやる。これによ
つて用紙ガイド板15の先端部は剥離爪11の刃
先の前方に突出して、これをカバーした状態とな
り、オペレーターは用紙の取出口に手を差込んで
も剥離爪11の刃先には触れないことになる。

による用紙の取出口の開閉によつて自動的に行な
えるので、定着装置における紙詰まり時の用紙を
取除く際、オペレーターに対し心理的に余分な負
担をかけないで済むといつた利点も有する。
