Abstract

The water closet has a drainage port in a position higher than the floor. During a flushing operation, an air vent space is partitioned by a water wall formed by a water flux dropping from a dam and by an increase of the water level in a reservoir. The air in a trap is pushed out speedily toward the drainage port, due to the rapid flow of water to make vacuous the interior of a trap's drainage passage, and make it ready to start a siphoning action. When the feeding of water from a tank has been completed, so that the continuous siphoning action approaches the end, a notch is formed in the water wall. This notch permits the air to enter the air vent space immediately.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION (Field of Industrial Application) The present invention relates to a flush toilet, and particularly to a so-called low-silhouette type one-piece toilet in which a flush water tank is integrally formed with the toilet main body.

(Prior Art) Low silhouette type one-piece toilets have been known for some time (for example, Japanese Utility Model Application No. 106584/1984).

However, in this type of flush toilet, the height dimension of the flush water tank is matched to the toilet body as much as possible to give a sense of unity.

As a result, a sufficient water head cannot be obtained, and the instantaneous flow rate of the water supply, which is a major factor that affects the flushing function of the toilet, is reduced by toilets in which the flush water tank is installed on the toilet body, or in toilets that use a flush valve as the water supply device. This is significantly lower than that of toilet bowls.

Additionally, for wall-drain type toilets, the core height of the drain port is generally 100 to 150 mm above the floor surface for construction and toilet function reasons.
However, when this low-silhouette type one-piece toilet is used as a wall drain type to ensure the above drain height, the height difference from the water reservoir surface of the bowl to the drain core is reduced, and the above-mentioned height is reduced. To date, there are no wall-drain one-piece toilets because they cannot function satisfactorily due to poor water supply conditions.

On the other hand, since one-piece type flush toilets are treated as the highest quality toilets, there are many requests for the one-piece type toilets to be installed in luxury condominiums, luxury hotels, suites, etc.

However, in hotels, condominiums, etc., ceiling beams often get in the way of drainage piping, and in high-rise buildings, space in the height direction is often secured by removing the piping space behind the ceiling. Therefore, conventional one-piece flush toilets, which are floor drain type and require drainage piping to be installed under the floor, are often unable to meet the above market demands.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) The problems to be solved by the present invention are to provide a trap drainage channel with a new structure that facilitates siphoning and to obtain a strong siphoning force. The purpose is to enable wall drainage in the toilet bowl.

(Means for Solving the Problems) The technical means taken by the present invention to solve the above problems is to connect the drain outlet of the trap drainage channel formed continuously to the ball part of the toilet bowl body to the side of the toilet bowl body. The trap drainage channel is provided with a water reservoir on the downstream side of the weir, and the diameter of the trap drainage channel is partially narrowed between the weir and the water reservoir, and a trap drainage channel is provided on the upper wall of the water reservoir. A partition wall is vertically provided with some ventilation space left between the water reservoir and the water surface of the water reservoir, and a notch is provided in the partition wall.

(Function) According to the above technical means of the present invention, during cleaning, the ventilation space is partitioned into a wall shape by the water flux falling from the weir and the rise in the water level in the water pool,
The air inside the trap is quickly pushed out to the drain side by the water force, and the inside of the trap drainage channel becomes negative pressure.

Also, when the water supply from the tank is finished and the siphon duration is nearing its end, air is quickly introduced through the notch in the partition wall, so the timing of air introduction is accelerated and the siphon is quickly turned off.

In the toilet main body A, a rim water passage 9 provided along the upper edge of the ball portion 1 is connected to the middle portion in the height direction of the flush water tank B via a water supply chamber 10 provided at the rear of the ball portion 1, and also to the bowl portion 1. Discharge ports 11 opened on the bottom side of the part 1 are connected to the bottom of the wash water tank B via conduits 12 provided on the outside of the ball part 1, and part of the wash water in the tank B is channeled through the rim. Water is supplied along the wall surface of the ball part 1 from a water injection hole 13 opened on the lower surface of the water channel 9, and water is supplied from the remaining majority part to the bottom of the ball part 1 in a swirling manner from the discharge port 11.

The trap drainage channel 2 has an inlet 14 opened at the bottom of the bowl part 1, and an outlet, that is, a drain port 3, opened at a position approximately halfway between the lower end of the flush water tank B and the lower end of the toilet main body A on the back of the toilet main body A. That is, the trap drainage channel 2 is a part (hereinafter referred to as part a) that extends obliquely upward from an inlet 14 opened at the bottom of the bowl part 1 toward the rear of the toilet main body A.

(1) During cleaning, the ventilation space is partitioned into a wall by the water flux that falls from the weir and the rise in the water level in the water reservoir, so the air inside the trap is quickly pushed out to the drain side by the water force, and the trap is closed. It is possible to create a negative pressure inside to facilitate siphon action.

Therefore, the instantaneous flow rate of water supply is significantly lower than that of a tank-tight toilet or a toilet with a flush valve, and when using a wall drain type and ensuring the core height of the drain outlet is approximately 100 mm above the floor, the ball reservoir Although it is a one-piece toilet of a low silhouette type in which the height difference from the water surface to the drain core is small, it can obtain a sufficiently satisfactory sewage drainage function as a wall drainage type.

As a result, ceiling beams often get in the way of underfloor piping, and the piping space behind the ceiling is often omitted, making it difficult to install low-silhouette one-piece toilets in high-rise buildings.
It can be installed in luxury condominiums, luxury hotels, etc. without any problems, and can meet market demands.

(2) By providing a notch in the partition wall, when the water supply from the wash water tank ends and the siphon duration approaches the end, air can be quickly introduced into the trap through the notch, so the siphon can be turned off immediately. In this way, it is possible to secure the water reservoir surface of the ball part and return the water sealing depth for the trap seal to its original state.

Incidentally, if notches are not provided in the partition wall, the rise in the water level in the water reservoir and the water falling from the weir will significantly lengthen the siphon completion time and make it difficult to ensure a deep water seal.

Note that the above-mentioned notch does not affect the siphon start time or the strength of the siphon at all, since a water film is formed by the water flux from the weir when the siphon starts.
