Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the bending deflection and bending curvature and improve the paper folding quality by installing a stacker edge for forming a folding line which is set toward the press contact part of a paper folding roller in a nearly equal distance from a pair of nip rollers and a roller shaft onto which a pair of paper folding rollers can be press-attached. CONSTITUTION:Simultaneously with the stop of a paper 31 at a stopper 30, a swing arm 46 lowers, and the undersurfaces of a pair of nip rollers 43 arranged at the both edges of the swing arm 46 nipping-hold the front paper 31 so as to lightly press the surfaces of the first paper folding rollers 11 and 12 from above. At the same time, a bending start line is uniformly formed on the paper 31 by the stacker edges 42A and 42B positioned at the both edge parts of the swing arm 46, and the paper 31 is inserted to a prescribed depth. Then, the paper 31 is bitten along the bending start line through the nipping and rotation of the paper folding rollers 11 and 12 which rotate in the opposite directions as shown by the arrows and the nip roller 43, and then discharged, passing through the first paper folding rollers 11 and 12.

The paper feeding speed of the paper folding device is 6 to 7 sheets of paper 31. per second. And since it has the ability to transport and process the processed sheets 32, 33, 34, the speed at which each sheet is fed is extremely high. Therefore, for example, when the paper 31 reaches the stopper guide 22, although there are guides above and below the paper 31, there is a gap necessary for carrying the paper 31, so the paper 31 is not directly received, but the paper 31 immediately after being carried. is unstable because it floats or curves. If the first tacker 23 operates in this unstable state, the edge will not evenly hit the surface of the paper 31, but will hit unevenly.
; and since there is no upper support, the paper 31 may slip irregularly and have a bent fold line, or may be wedged into the first paper folding roller 11 without having evenly divided fold lines. 12 and the conveyor belt 10
This results in a paper fold that is deformed by Therefore, Fig. 5 (a
), the bending a and the folding deviation b in the figure each amount to about 8 mm. This is explained in the second section above. The same phenomenon occurs in the third paper folding mechanism, so that the paper 34 that is finally folded into eight is extremely deformed and difficult to see. In addition, the folded paper 34 deformed in this manner will not be fully loaded into the container scheduled for the next process, causing jamming and often causing the loading device to stop, resulting in a significant drop in operating efficiency. The present invention solves these problems and even in the paper folding process where the paper is conveyed and processed at high speed, the paper 31 and the paper 32, 33, and 3 that are in the middle of being processed are
To provide a filter paper folding device capable of folding 4 pieces into equal parts without bending.
