Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve fitting characteristics well corresponding to an individual body shape and to make fitting operation easy by constituting a main body consisting of a flexible raw material and a non-flexible raw material or a flexible raw material and a part where the flexibility of a specified part made of the flexible raw material is modified by an impregnation treatment of a treating agent. CONSTITUTION:For a knee disease such as a front projection of the shinbone caused by a damage of a front cross ligament, a three point supporting type knee device wherein a rear part 1 of the thigh and a rear part 2 of the lower limbs are used as supporting points and a rough face of the shinbone 3 is pressed from the front is used. Non-stretchability remaining flexibility is given to a region I covering a lower part of the knee covering bone 7 with a crescent shape by a treatment using a polyvinyl chloride emulsion. In addition, a high stretchability is provided to a region II which is a rear part of the lower limbs and reaches the central part of an abdominal muscle by using a part made of a styrene-isoprene-styrene copolymer. Furthermore, a weak stretchability is provided to a region III connecting a front part 11 of the thigh and the region II. Fixing force, supporting force, pressing force or moisture retention force to a part fitted to a human body can be properly improved thereby at a part treated with impregnation.

Covering devices that cover a part of the human body to fix, support, compress, protect, insulate, or correct that part include shoulders, elbows, and braces for medical and sports purposes.
Items used for joints such as hands, hips, knees, feet, chest, abdomen, waist, etc.
There are those used for the trunk and extremities such as the forearm, upper arm, thigh, and lower leg, and various types are known in terms of form, structure, and material, depending on the site of use, disease details, and operability. There is. First, in terms of form, they can be roughly divided into band-shaped and cylindrical. Regarding the structure, there is a main body that covers the affected area, and a rigid structure that partially fixes, supports, compresses, protects, keeps warm, and corrects the affected area covered by the main body. Some are made of combinations of high quality materials, non-stretchable materials, materials with different elasticity, materials with different cushioning properties, materials with different thickness, etc., and also have belts attached to the main body. In terms of materials, in addition to materials with the characteristics mentioned above, there are breathable materials and highly hygroscopic materials, and these include single or composite materials such as woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, nonwoven fabrics, plastics, and rubber foams Consists of.

These covered orthoses need to have a good fit, good operability, good wearing comfort, and be able to fix, support, compress, protect, keep warm, or correct only the necessary parts, but the human body Since each person's body shape is different and the structure is not flat, various improvements have been made. For example, to improve the fit, the attachment method is laced, and when attaching an auxiliary belt to the brace, it is tightened again from above the brace. We adopt a three-dimensional structure in the orthosis design, consider the directionality of the material, use three-dimensional cutting and sewing technology, and combine materials with various characteristics to manufacture them. In addition, in order to improve operability, the lace-up method has been changed to a one-touch method using a hook-and-loop fastener, and the belt-like method has been replaced with a cylindrical method. moreover,
In order to fix, support, compress, protect, keep warm, correct, etc. only the necessary parts, we use three-dimensional sewing technology, attach auxiliary belts, use thick materials, add batt materials, and various other materials. Some things are being done, such as combining them.

However, conventional covered braces do not necessarily fit each patient well, and those with complex structures require a professional assistant to fit them, and they are also heavy, making it difficult for patients to wear them for long periods of time. There is no such thing yet that is painful and acts only on the necessary areas.

The cylindrical foundation has a knitted structure that changes its size to suit the body shape, changes the thickness and type of thread, and changes its structure in order to apply partial pressure or change the supporting force. It is designed to provide the desired functionality. In addition, some sewing foundations are made from different materials such as knitted fabrics, woven fabrics, non-woven fabrics, materials with different physical properties, or materials with different physical properties that are combined or layered to create a three-dimensional structure.

When the main body is made of a stretchable material and a non-stretchable material, it is effective for braces that require fixation force, such as rib fracture fixation bands and lumbar pain bands. Specifically, for a rib fracture fixation band, a non-stretchable material should be used on the side that corresponds to the diseased area, an elastic material should be used and impregnated on the side of the rib fracture, and for the H pain band, a non-stretchable material should be used on the side that corresponds to the diseased area. A non-stretchable material may be used, and a stretchable material may be used for other parts, and the impregnation treatment may be performed thereon as appropriate.

In the covered orthosis constructed as described above, the part of the main body that is not impregnated has the elastic properties inherent to the elastic material, whereas the part that has been impregnated has the elastic properties of the elastic material. It has elastic properties different from those of the covered orthosis, and when this covered orthosis is worn, the fixing force, supporting force, compressive force, or heat retaining force on the part of the body to which it is attached can be appropriately increased in the impregnated part. For medical use, the desired therapeutic effect, for sports use, the desired preventive effect, and for foundation silane, the desired body adjustment effect can be obtained, and the weight of the entire brace is almost the same as the main body made of elastic material. In addition, the covered appliance of the present invention is lightweight and can be manufactured using a simple manufacturing process of impregnating a stretchable material with a treatment agent.

In each figure, the symbols shown for each part of the covered appliance are
As shown in the figure, it shows how the elastic properties of the main body changed as a result of impregnation treatment. The white parts without symbols indicate the main body as it is without impregnation treatment. The opening and the opening are obtained by a processing agent that strengthens the fixing force and supporting force, and a processing agent that suppresses the elongation rate, and the rigidity becomes stronger as you go from the section C to the section A. Also, 2, E, and 5 are obtained by a treatment agent that strengthens the compression force, and the backstretch or elongation becomes smaller as you go from 8 to 8. In each example, even areas with the same symbol do not necessarily have the same elasticity characteristics, and each characteristic indicated by ``Ile'' also has a range, and there may be some differences depending on each brace and the location where it is applied. It is something that you have.

Reference numeral 101 denotes a stretchable main body made of nylon knitted material sewn into the shape of pants.A diamond-shaped area corresponding to the central front of the main body 101, that is, the lower abdomen, is equipped with a material that compresses the abdomen to make it slimmer. Therefore, a polyacrylate emulsion was applied to create a non-stretchable area, and a styrene-isoprene-styrene solution was applied to the area from the front of the abdomen through the groin to the upper back to create an area with high back stretch. A urethane elastomer solution is applied to the other buttocks area (2) to form an area with high elasticity.

According to the present invention, by impregnating a predetermined part of the main body made of a stretchable material with a treatment agent, the stretch characteristics of only that part can be changed. It is possible to apply an appropriate acting force, that is, a fixing force, a supporting force, a compressive force, etc., and it becomes possible to perform rational treatment and prevention. In addition, since the brace itself is made of an elastic material and a treatment agent such as resin, the thickness and weight are almost the same as those of the elastic material, and it does not feel like a foreign body and does not have complicated auxiliary belts. Since there is no such thing, it is easy to put on the device, and even if an elderly person or a child wants to put it on, they can do it by themselves without any burden. Furthermore, since a treatment agent is simply applied and bonded to the stretchable material without combining and sewing various materials as in the past, the manufacturing process is extremely simple, leading to cost reductions.
