関への燃料供給量をフイードバツク制御して空燃
比を制御する内燃機関の空燃比制御装置において
、前記三元触媒の上流側の排気通路に装着され機
関排気の酸素濃度を検出する第1酸素センサと、
該第1酸素センサによつて検出された排気中酸素
濃度に基づく実際の空燃比と目標空燃比との偏差
に応じたフイードバツク補正量を比例積分制御に
より設定するフイードバツク補正量設定手段と、
該フイードバツク補正量設定手段で設定されたフ
イードバツク補正量を用いて空燃比を目標空燃比
に近づけるよう燃料供給手段による機関への燃料
供給量を補正する燃料供給量補正手段と、前記三
元触媒出口近傍の排気通路に装着され三元触媒通
過後の排気の酸素濃度を検出する窒素酸化物還元
触媒を含んだ第2酸素センサと、該第2酸素セン
サで検出された酸素濃度に基づく空燃比がリツチ
側又はリーン側に所定時間以上継続した時に前記
フイードバツク補正量設定手段で設定するフイー
ドバツク補正量の比例分を増大変更する比例分変
更手段とを備えたことを特徴とする内燃機関の空
