【発明の詳細な説明】 (発明の技術分野) 本発明は碍子清掃装置に係り、碍子かさ部下面
の表面形状への追随性や密着性にすぐれた弾性粗
面体により、該下面を清掃するようにしたもので
ある。

(従来の技術) 送電線鉄塔や発変電所等に配設される碍子の従
来の清掃装置は、例えば特公昭51−25595号公報
に見られるように、操作杆の先端部に取り付けら
れたフレームにブラシを装着して構成されてお
り、洗浄水を碍子に向つて射出しながら操作杆を
操作するなどして該ブラシを碍子表面に摺接して
その清掃を行うようになつていた。しかしながら
この種従来のものは、ブラシの木目が粗いのでブ
ラシの毛先部が碍子表面に点接触もしくは線接触
するだけであり、その清掃効率は低いものであつ
た。また碍子はその製造過程において、寸法的な
変動や変形、歪曲を生じる性質があるため、従来
のブラシでは凹凸のある碍子かさ部の下面形状に
追随してこれに密着することができず、該下面を
十分に清掃できない問題点があつた。更には比較
的短期間にブラシが損耗したり脱毛を生じるなど
その耐久性も十分ではない等の問題点があつた。

耐久性にすぐれた碍子清掃装置を提供することを
目的とする。

(発明の概要) 本発明は、碍子表面に摺接してこれを清掃する
摺接部を、碍子表面に点接触もしくは線接触しか
しない上記従来のブラシにかえて、凹凸のある碍
子表面形状への追随性にすぐれ、かつ碍子表面に
面接触できるフエルトのような弾性粗面体を使用
するようにしている。そして該粗面体を、弾性芯
材に弾性変形自在に装着されて碍子かさ部下面の
凹入部に嵌合する膨出部と、碍子かさ部下端面に
摺接する基部とから形成したものである。このよ
うな摺接部によれば、これも凹凸のあるかさ部下
面の形状に追随させてこれに確実に面接触させる
ことができ、碍子に向つて洗浄水を射出しながら
操作杆を操作することにより、碍子かさ部下面を
十分に清掃することができる。

おり、該粗面体26は碍子かさ部10Aの上面に
当接する。
