〔発明が解決しようとする課題〕
上述した従来の窓口端末利用者の個人識別方式では、カ
ード上の暗証番号の解読、又はカードの複製が行われた
場合にカード登録者の情報が悪用される可能性があると
いう欠点がある.〔課題を解決するための手段〕
本発明の窓口端末利用者の個人識別方式は、窓口端末利
用者の利用者登録時に登録者本人の指紋を指紋読取装置
にて読み取り、指紋情報をコード変換したものと、キー
ボード等より暗証番号,各種情報のコードデータを入力
したものとを、集積回路付iDカードの記憶部に出力す
るiC付iDカード記憶手段と、
前記集積回路付iDカード利用時に窓口端末利用者の指
紋を指紋読取装置にて読み取り、その読み取られた指紋
情報をコード変換したものと、前記集積回路付iDカー
ド上に記憶されているカード登録者の指紋コードをカー
ドリーダにて読み取ったものとを照合する集積回路付I
Dカード指紋コード照合手段とを設けたことを特徴とす
る.〔実施例〕

iC付iDカードを使っての窓口端末利用時、利用者は
指紋読取装置9により指紋読取部10を通して指紋情報
を読み取り、その指紋情報を個人識別できるあらかじめ
決められた桁数にコード変換部3でコード変換を行う.
また、利用者はiC付iDカード12をカードリーダ1
3によりカード読取部14を通して入力する.そして、
利用者は暗証番号をキーボード18よりコード入力部■
9を通して入力する。その後、コード変換部11にて変
換された指紋コードと、カード読取部14より読み取ら
れた指紋コードとを指紋コード照合部15にて照合し、
照合結果判定16を行い、近似値でなければ使用不可状
態となり(17),近似値であればカード読取部14よ
り読み取られた暗証番号とコード入力部19より入力さ
れた暗証番号とを暗証番号照合部20にて照合し、照合
結果判定(21)を行い一致していなければ使用不可状
態となり(22)、一致していれば目的処理(23)が
行われる.
〔発明の効果〕
以上説明したように本発明は、金融機関の窓口端末AT
M等に代表されるように、iDカードー枚で個人の多種
多様の情報サービスが受けられる今日においてiDカー
ド利用者の個人識別方式として指紋コードをiCを利用
したiC付iDカード上に登録しておき、iDカード利
用者本人の指紋と照合することにより、iDカードの悪
用を防止することができるばかりでなく情報サービスシ
