照合装置側に膨大な記憶容量を必要とせず、また原理的
に対象人数に制限を受けず、さらに指紋照合を前提とし
照合の精度が非常に高くなるという効果があるほか、指
紋を登録しである指を負傷した場合でもバックアップで
きる等の効果がある。
