A conventional electric precipitator uses an electric field field composed of a discharge electrode and a dust collection electrode as a dust collection cell, and has charging equipment to apply a high voltage between the discharge electrode and the dust collection electrode to collect dust. Dust particles from the air flowing through the cell for the purpose of cleaning were charged by the corona discharge generated by applying a high voltage to the discharge electrode, and were collected by the dust collection electrode. There is no way to predict and display a decrease in corona discharge in advance so that the dust layer of accumulated dust particles does not reduce the corona discharge of the discharge electrode and reduce the collection of dust particles.

By the way, in the conventional electrostatic precipitator, since the dust layer of dust particles deposited on the dust collecting electrode has an insulating property, the corona discharge characteristics deteriorate as the layer becomes thicker, which is disadvantageous. Therefore, especially in industrial electrostatic precipitators, the corona discharge current is reduced by electromechanical and electromagnetic discharge electrode hammering devices and dust collecting electrode hammering devices on the accumulated dust particles of the discharge electrode and the dust collection electrode. Immediately before this, a timer for setting the hammering time and a timer for setting the hammering pause time were installed, and the hammer was intermittently hammered and dropped into the hopper.

Therefore, even if the dust collection electrode and the discharge electrode are subjected to a hammering impact before the corona discharge characteristics deteriorate, the timing was predicted based on the settings based on the test results, so it is likely that the hammering timing was inappropriate. On the other hand, there is an inconvenience in that the dust particles increase the accumulation of the dust layer or re-scattering, and it is difficult to control this.

The purpose of this invention is to provide a method for displaying a warning of a status period using a signal that indicates an abnormality.

The present invention includes an ionization section and a dust collection section, the ionization section is composed of a discharge wire and a counter electrode, and the dust collection section is composed of a dust collection electrode and a repulsion electrode extending from the counter electrode. In an electrostatic precipitator equipped with a high-voltage power supply that applies voltage to the electric wire and the repulsion electrode, the extent of the accumulated dust layer of dust particles on the dust collection electrode of the dust collection section is determined by changes in the dirt on the counter electrode of the ionization section, and the When the corona discharge current to the counter electrode decreases below the set current value, a warning should be displayed to prompt the replacement or cleaning of the dust collection section, or if the counter electrode becomes dirty, due to the characteristics of the high voltage power supply This is a contamination warning method for an electrostatic precipitator that detects the increase in applied voltage caused by a decrease in the corona discharge current and displays a warning to replace or clean the dust collector.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be explained based on the drawings. Fig. 1 shows a two-stage charge type electrostatic precipitator which is an embodiment of the present invention, and the electrostatic precipitator includes:
An ionization section a composed of a discharge wire 1 and a counter electrode 2, a dust collection section b composed of a dust collection electrode 3 and a repulsion electrode 4, and a high voltage power supply 5 that applies a DC high voltage to the discharge wire 1 and the repulsion electrode 4. It is composed of:
(The blowing section is not shown.) In such an electrostatic precipitator, the dust collecting section needs to be periodically replaced or cleaned, but the period varies depending on the degree of contamination of the contaminated air. Therefore, the present invention is a method of detecting changes in the corona discharge current due to dirt on the counter electrode 2 of the discharge line 1 and outputting a signal, and using a light emitting diode or the like to indicate the time to replace or clean the dust collecting section b.

Therefore, if the electrostatic precipitator of the present invention has a configuration as shown in FIG. The dust particles are charged in the ionization part a and flow to the dust collection part b, and the charged dust particles are attracted and adsorbed to the dust collection electrode 3 by the electric field of the dust collection electrode 3 and the repulsion electrode 4 of the dust collection part b. be done.

On the other hand, the dust particles that are usually caught in office buildings include cigarette smoke, dust from the human body and clothes, dust from paper, sand, concrete powder, and dust in the air. Most of the dust collecting electrodes 3 are insulative, and as time passes, insulating dust particles are gradually deposited on the dust collection electrode 3 to form a dust layer. The accumulated dust layer formed by the dust particles thus formed also adheres to the counter electrode 2 of the discharge wire 1, thereby hindering corona discharge, and the corona discharge current decreases as the adhesion of dust particles increases. The present invention is characterized in that it captures this decrease in corona discharge current and outputs a signal to indicate when to replace or clean the dust collecting section b. Therefore, the signal that captures the decrease in the corona discharge current may be a direct change in the corona discharge current flowing through the discharge line 1, or it may be a signal that detects a change in the corona discharge current flowing directly through the discharge line 1, or it may be the primary signal of the high-voltage power supply circuit that decreases secondarily as the current on the load side decreases. It is also possible to capture changes in the current on the side.

ところで、通常の高圧電源回路の負荷特性は、

By the way, the load characteristics of a normal high voltage power supply circuit are as follows.
As shown in Figure 2, it is common for the voltage to drop when the current is large and to rise when the current is small, so when the load becomes lighter due to the adhesion of dust particles, the operating point of the electrostatic precipitator is the operating point C shown in the diagram. Since the motor moves from to operating point D, the voltage rise on the secondary side can be captured and displayed using a neon lamp or the like. In addition, the values of the corona discharge current and voltage that output the signal can be freely set, and the ionization part a and the dust collection part b
Since this is a combination of the above, it is convenient because even if you forget to insert the dust collection cell which is the dust collection part b and turn on the electricity, the corona discharge current will not flow and the voltage will rise to indicate this.

Note that this method of indicating when to replace and clean the dust collecting section b is not limited to the two-stage charge type electric precipitator described above, but can also be applied to a type that has a discharge wire of the ionization section and a counter electrode, and which attracts dust particles with a charge. , it can be applied to either method.
