Blow molding is used to form the outer shape of the skin by pressing it against the parison, but at that time, a frame (stay) is inserted into the parison in advance, and after blow molding, the formed skin is filled with foam material. The skin, frame, and pads were manufactured in one piece by foaming and hardening, molding the pads, and fixing the frame to the pads.

Then, cover both sides of the desired part of this core material with a covering material to create a core part,
Using this core, a skin is formed by blow molding. The see-through headrest is formed by filling the skin with a foaming agent and foaming it to form a part that becomes a cushioning material, and then removing the covering material, the skin, and the foamed part of the covering material part. The purpose of this invention is to provide a method for manufacturing the same.

The method for forming the core material S is to stretch a mesh net on one side of the frame 15 and attach it by a fixing means such as driving a tacker or the like (not shown) into a desired location, but the method is not limited to this. Any known means may be sufficient. In this example, the net 16 is made of painted metal or reinforced plastic (FRP).

It only needs to be made of a material that is not easily damaged.

ある。 Then, a desired part of this core material S, that is, a part visible as a net when the product is completed, is covered on both sides with covering materials 17, 17 to form a core part 18, and using this core part 18, sheet blow molding is performed. and form the headrest epidermis. That is, sheets 10 and 11 made of vinyl chloride resin extruded from separate dies (not shown) of two extruders are interposed facing each other between divided molds 12 and 13, and this sheet Between 10 and 11, the above net 1

A core portion 18 consisting of is inserted, and the molds 12 and 13 are closed. Compressed air is blown into the closed molds 12 and 13 to form the headrest skin. At this time, the excess portions of the sheets 10 and 11 are removed from the mold 12,
13 is cut and removed by clamping the mold. Then, a foam material is filled into the cover through an opening (not shown) formed in a part of the headrest skin and foam-molded. After cooling the head rest skin formed in this manner, it is taken out from the mold and the covering materials 17, 17 of the covering portions, the sheets 10, 11 of the covering materials 17, 17 portions, the foamed portions, etc. are cut out. By removing this, a headrest 25 having a mesh-like net portion in a part of the headrest as shown in FIG. 3 is obtained. Of course, the same effect can be obtained by extruding a circular parison from a die, inserting a frame with a net attached from the bottom, clamping the mold, and performing blow molding.
